All Blacks v France 2025

ABs always seem start the season slowly
A game where if you didn’t see the scoreline could have thought they were up by 30 or more
3 disallowed tries and multiple times turning the ball over in the French 22

Savea was massive like always!
agree reiko seemed a little slow on the wing

seems the losses of tamati williams, and Sititi has hurt a little as well with ABs missing up to 11 potential squad members
Interesting to see if they start McKenzie next week with Jordan on the wing or bring in Clarke or Narawa

I predict a big improvement from the ABs next week and comfortable win

I think we can take it as read that ScoBar is going to miss at least T2:

"Robertson was asked about Barrett’s availability ahead of Saturday’s rematch after travelling to Wellington but said he wanted to wait until an official announcement had been made on Tuesday before commenting."

Given there's an Official Announcement in the offing you'd have to think it's a medium- to long-term injury.

@Linerunner2023 there's heavy rain & "fresh" northerlies forecast for Wellington on Saturday so could be an arm-wrestle rather than an AB blowout.

I don’t think the French player marking up against Tosi was ever in a position to defend against the try being scored and it should have stood.

TMO’s are having more and more influence and it’s detrimental to the game. Overly officious pedants who are determined to stamp their mark on the game need to be reigned in.

Ruling on infringements that don’t affect the outcome of the play should not be part of the TMO’s brief.

ScoBar out for series WOB. Thought would be case, and wouldn't be surprised if in race for RC.

Looks ok for the French to use dummy runners to score a try. Looks just like Jordan’s disallowed try.

I follow French Rugby with a bit of interest and there's a decent slew of players I don't recognise.

There are some players there that are guaranteed future French stars: their centres in Depoortrere and Gailleton (though he's on the wing) will be French mainstays and are better than Moefana, Fickou, Danty already IMO. It's been area of weakness for them for a while so this is inevitable.

Attisogbe is crazy good and singlehandedly saves Pau's season. Battling with Ramos for 15 is tough but he's up for it. Nolann Le Garrec would start at 9 for Australia, just happens to be behind a generational talent.

Then there's the inexperienced props and locks who aren't amazing but the drop off from their best props/locks to the next level is big so I get depth building there.

But a flyhalf like Segonds? That's just a weird choice. He's a 27 year old journey man that will never be top 3 picks for flyhalf. They have more exciting younger players who they should be blooding.
