I note Drew was wearing his Balmain socks, but it looks like Gits is also wearing some, is that right? Has he signed with them too?

I thought Drew Mitchell was very average at 15, very tentative.

Well, he was running in his new hairdo, fp. And isn't it a shocker!
Only really would have worked with his dodgy mo. Now just looks like Gits did it for him. Or Henjak has got a gig as team hairdresser.

Absolute delighted the BaaBaas won this one. Must be a record for the Bok players to make it 4 wins in one year against the old foe.

Pretty disappointed not to watched it live but the highlights from the front page was enough for me.

Must be one hell of a day for WP Nel coming from my Namaqualand roots of Loeriesfontein and playing on the HQ of rugby and get a win at the same time.

Could see after the end whistle went the BaaBaa players enjoying this win.

Hope WP will exploid his new province way of wide play from the past. He, Jac Fourie will start their first practise at Newlands today.

I've had about 15 mails/bergs from Yarpies today telling me how happy the players were and how it must be some sort of a record for them to beat the AB's 4 times in one year. Not only that but the media pointed it out everywhere too & frankly it's starting to piss me off. Yes, well done, but jesus christ isn't this just proving my point of overkill and how screwed up the selection policy for this match was? These guys playing the AB's for the FOURTH time this year, and for some Aussies A BLOODY FIFTH!!

I'm glad I didn't watch it, from what I heard we did pretty well given it was our 2nd stringers and if it wasn't for a bloody intercept (how many times have AB' supporterss had to write that in recent times), we had a good shout of beating probably the best/most experienced Barbarians team ever.

Perhaps I'm just grumpy as the AB selection policy basically handed the match to the Barbarians. Either that or it's just Monday. Or maybe it's just simply because a pointless match, selected way outside the spirit of barbarians rugby (on both sides) has put another dent in the AB's proud (out of RWC...) record.

Ag MR I had exactly the same feeling when we last played the BBs. Its usually one match to far in the season and I am pretty sure after dealing with the Hane , the tour lost its passion. OK most AB supporters dont like losing but it did take of the gloss from the tour. Winning all the time give confidense and self believe and pressure from the supporters.

Last match of the tour and losing dont leave a good taste and now a long time before the next test start, so join the club. I know you sure aint the arrogant type of All Black supporter (like some dude on the main board) that qouted last week the MiB only have to pitch up after I post there it could be a good hard game. Oom Paarl never forgive those kind of qouting after the result went wrong for them.

The fact is there aint much diferense in the top teams, Carter make a huge differense for you boys and Bakkies for us. Something for the coaching staff to look at with the real WC just around the corner. I'd take a loss against the Iere and France anyday now , compare to getting kicked out at a WC tournament by them.

Sometime you have to feel pain to gain but at the end of a tour it just aint nice.
