Genuinely thought AB were about to lose & Scotland can feel aggrieved about Dempsey's YC but OTOH Ref let them get away with plenty of dodgy stuff at the breakdown & slowing the game down. Fair to say the subs got us home, TJP & Taylor in particular.

Ref was pretty friendly to the Scots throughout the game, exception for the Dempsey YC which was a complete overreaction. I gotta get myself to a game at Murrayfield, looks fantastic.

ABs are fun to watch when on song, Cane being injured is such a blessing. Commentators are less fun to listen to, would be great to hear the local comms, the NZ ones suuuuuck. Either be outrageously biased like the NH ones, or neutral, not some smug, condescending middle ground.

Also Dempsey would've been useful in the Aussie side this weekend, fuck Scotland and their foreign legion. Legitimately half that team didn't come up from Scottish age groups, it's bollocks.

I thought Taylor showed why still a test player, TJ looked like he belonged, also thought Frizell added punch when he came on. I buggered if I get the Christie thing, he just not quite at this level as yet. As I said in other thread, I happy with 8 point win, will do me.
And real kudos to Hogg and Russell, geez they make a difference in that Scots backline.

Yep. Have to agree with almost everything here. I groaned when Taylor came on but he was pretty good this morning.

I've been an Akira fan for ages but he again showed that he isn't a Test player and I was hoping Findlay would get pulled at half-time. Reiko did well when he came on too.

Looks like Taylor is a good impact player, doesn't have the tank for the full game anymore. But can do an intense 30.

LOL, 14 pts up after 10 mins but it was fools gold.

Ranga/BB/Havili/ALB/CC/Jordie at FB was some sort of dithering vortex of dopiness. Not even close to being in synch. FFS Mark Telea totally saved the match for the useless fucks. You know shit is out of hand when it's FLAPANARA who comes on to be the steady hand.

I'm not sold on him even as an 'impact' player. He hasn't always done well off the bench but admittedly, he was pretty bloody handy this week.

I want Aumua to get more time but I'm hoping he's not like Akira. Someone who does a lot of the 'flashy' things well but the fundamentals are lacking at the top level.

ScoBar at 6 makes me a little nervous...

Pretty much the best line up I think, perhaps Sotutu and Havili on bench only questions.

I have a suspicion that Levi Aumua will take 13 off Rieko in the future.

Rieko came off the bench last week and delivered the match sealing try to Telea through wonderful centre play. Not sure why everyone is so keen to see him moved from 13 where he goes from strength to strength

Happy with Barrett at 6 as the reality is no one else has claimed the jersey so I think it's the best option available for now. Frizell I prefer from the bench where i think he is more impactful.

I reckon Aumua is more of an out and out 13. He would really complete that backline. Also he looks like a greek god whereas Rieko looks like he ate glue as a kid.
