I think the only player New Zealand need to worry about is Dan Carter. McCaw is a big lose also but I do believe they can manage without him, the success of the crusaders without Richie is a prime example. The depth in most other positions is also quite large like mentioned above their centres and wingers are all worthy of an all blacks jumper. With there large injury list they may not be as strong but they still go into the tournament by far as favourites unless of coarse they are without Carter.

With 3 sides still in the top 6 I don't believe they need to be to worried about depth.

I take offence at the word crisis in the headline of this thread.

As stated, the All Blacks could send out their B team or C team and still clean up.

Can one of the moderators take this word crisis out of the title. The All Blacks have nothing to worry about.

I would be forgetting his age and have Brown as Carter's backup. 7 is a problem for you blokes. Plenty of talent but none proven at test level other than Braid and McCaw.

Front row and THL are our bogey positions.

I believe Gagger's Force V Crusaders article last week is very relevant to weakness in the AB's.

AB's biggest weakness is their second row and line-out. It seems to be one of the only areas of their game where they don't have the World's best in that position (without any injuries!)

In regards to the comments earlier about what is better, rested players or players who havent had a break; I think that Henry's failed plan in 2007 of resting certain players in the lead up to the tournament shows that Deans is right playing all of his players throughout the season.

lets just pray the Wallabies don't get any injuries

I dont think the ALL Blacks have any depth issues in the 2nd Row....Thorn will be right, so will Whitelock, then you have Ali Williams back from Injury who is finding his form, Anthony Boric will be right and then you have players like the reliable Chris Jack and also Jarred Hoeta who is pushing his case hard. So 2nd Row isnt an issue. Lineout options isnt an issue either, you have the two locks then you can throw up Kaino, McCaw and Read. I think too much has been read into the "INJURY CRISIS".
McCaw will be fit but there is a lot of depth in that position in NZ that I think goes far greater than any other country. You have BRaid Brothers, Matt Todd, Jack Lam, Latimer, so there is sufficent Depth there.

NOW...in terms of if DAN CARTER is injured before the RWC...then immigration from NZ will increase by the 2,000,000

Well yes that's our only part of depth. Deans seems to be stuck on the idea we need a ball player at 12 while I'm not convinced, I'd prefer a Nonu/SBW type player. Our centres are a huge worry, as well as wings.

By contrast, here's a Wallaby injury list, some might be back, just going off who was injured last week

1. Daley
2. TPN
3. Slipper
4. Vickerman
5.
6. Elsom
7. Waugh
8. Palu
9.
10.
11. Mitchell
12. Horne
13. Inman
14. Ioane
15.

Hynes at 15.

Jack and Thorn play for the Crusaders and they have the worst attacking lineout in the S15 (as of last week)
