Squads are announced tomorrow (a couple of days before this game), so it's more likely they're already signed up. It's possible that there could be some spaces open, but I'd be pretty surprised if it was all 4 of them.Thorn, Wilcox, Anderson and Saumaisue all have some Super Rugby or SRAus experience but have not yet been announced as contracted for next year. Maybe playing for spots on the roster?
You lost Len and Noah. Both were pretty foreseeable.Sound like a broken record and overly negative I know. But the backline depth next year is non-existent. These youngsters (Wilcox, Pritchard, Dillon) are good players with loads of talent, but are physically very clearly not up to it yet. Brumbies backs will get chewed up against those big nz teams with big wingers/centres like Naholo, Fihaki, Narawa, Timoci Etc. Such a shame too with a first-rate forward pack and a first-rate coaching team. If only they had grabbed two of Poolman, Annan, Potter, Lancaster, Pasitoa, Ripley, Strachan just to shore up the backline. Still really good to get minutes into these young players though before the season.
No Saumaisue is a bit of a surprise
Could be, but he wasn't named in their squad either and is still set to play for the Brumbies against Hong Kong China. Was there talk of him heading to the Drua?

It is a pretty full set of Locks/Backrow though, so I'm guessing he just got squeezed out, maybe by Langi getting a full deal.
It's a really interesting shift with Chace coming through for the Brumbies around the same time as Mackay at the Reds, both are quite big for 10s. Will be very nice from a Wallabies perspective to hopefully have a few bulkier options to choose from at 10 in 5 or so years time.Kye Oates has a bit of zip about him, but another player a bit on the short/light side. Listed as 180cm and 90kg. Apparently had a strong season this year in JID Cup.
Really looking forward to his brother Chase getting opportunities in near future. Could be the most talented No 10 coming through the pathways. Has an enormous boot on him too.
Chase/Chace (I've seen it both ways) has a bit of a Handre Pollard look about his physique. Not too dissimilar in the kicking department also. It's a really interesting shift with Chace coming through for the Brumbies around the same time as Mackay at the Reds, both are quite big for 10s. Thumping boot, needs to work on his accuracy though.Chase/Chace (I've seen it both ways) has a bit of a Handre Pollard look about his physique. Not too dissimilar in the kicking department also.
goat emoji = GOAT = Greatest Of All TimeBrumbies account using goat emoji seems odd.
goat emoji = GOAT = Greatest Of All Time
It's not meant literally, it's just a compliment.
"thanks for the shift, champ. now get out out before we change the locks."ok boomer. I knew what it meant - just odd to assign it to Noah...
Right. So you’re comfortable with Loloesio being considered the greatest of all time?? Wow. Ok.70% win record for the Brumbies over 77 games, starting at 10 for almost all of them.
Can't be many, if any, with that sort of record (what was Larkham's record?)
