7s is now an Olympic sport, so let's start the season with some news.

Australian Sevens 18-man Squad for the IRB Sevens World Series:

Willie Bishop, Robbie Coleman, Mitchell Felseman, Bernard Foley, Shaun Foley, Liam Gills, Talalelei Gray, Zack Holmes, Ed Jenkins, Brackin Karauria-Henry, Patrick McCutcheon, Ed Quirk, Brian Sefanaia, Dominic Shipperley, Clinton Sills, Kimami Situati, James Stannard, Jacob Taylor.

Liam Gill, the Australian schoolboy from this year is there. Anyone else schoolboys?

Felsman was one too wasn't he, a fullback? Situati, a winger, was one too.

Interesting some of the names lacking from last year. Star players Morahan and Kingi not being named must mean that the Reds have plans for them.

Quite surprise to see JW Jonker now with the 7s. He is a very good Cheetah midfielder.

Jakkals how many is retained from last year? See the George tournament is in three weeks time. Enjoyed it the last time and have a urge to go but then I am going on holiday the next week, so a bit of a waste.
