Wallabies are better when Topou comes off the bench. We really need him at the end of games.

Although AAA was stellar off the bench………

Having said that, I think having Tupou in the second half takes some pressure off Lonergan’s scrummaging.

I don’t think we’ll see Tom Wright next week………

He just couldn’t do anything right tonight.
I agree but it’s a bit of a shame; he’s athletic and quick enough that he can actually be dangerous at this level. For all Kellaway’s guile and work rate I can’t see him being very effective ball in hand.

Id like to see the defensive turnover/penalty count Hooper got one for Aus, i suppose not many others because France rarely had the ball, whereas there were at least 5- 6 times when the Wallabies were turned over at the breakdown whilst in attack. Support work needs a lot of improving,

Getting tired of Wallabies having heaps of possession and territory playing frantic ball in hand rugby, while the opposition just chills and calmy waits for their opportunity to score points. We just seem to try and play faster and faster

France strategy is to offer possession to the position and focus on D. It isn't about WBs not handling possession, but the French not wanting it. And they do that strategy very well.

It's touch and go which of these teams is better. As the French present in this tour anyway. That was a sensational game. The Q is "what for test #3"?

Hang in and enjoy the ride. The WBs "green" was well on show but wow it's close to coming together. These are enjoyable times as the WBs build back into international rugby. The frogs are doing our development just heaps of good. And a loss is part of it.

It also needs the Wallabies to have a quiet chat with the referee pregame about the officiating like Shag or Eddie Jones would

Put Dangunu or hopefully Vunivalu on the wing. The French outside backs have struggled with direct and straight running.

The upshot is it keeps the series alive and hopefully a cracking finale on Saturday, something to look forward to.

A three man unit with Nela Koro and Hooper is up to speed with any other country, shame the gap between these three and the bottom 5-10 of the 23 are currently so off the mark when it’ comes to being world class at their role

yep I was about to say the four non negotiable selections for me are TT, Marika, Hooper and AAA, and it’s a bloody shame that two of them play the same position!

Engrossing match.

Great theater.

Wanted Aus to win for having a go and running it from everywhere. Very pre-Leon Auckland Bluesy. Right down to reprising this old Blues chestnut.....

Imagine if a guy with Wright's physical attributes ran with the murderous intent of Koroibete? He looks like he is lacking confidence for some reason. He could be Latham-esque with some mongrel (and no, I'm not actually saying he's in that category yet).
