2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

The coaching battle is interesting too. I'm not sure that Rennie needs or wants this much possession. The French are completely happy to defend and push their luck at the ruck and breakdown.

Rennie would like more tactical kicking when the opportunity is there but instead it's opening up for "flair" moves that aren't quite sticking.

I’m now prepared to add my voice to some others and say I don’t think Banks is the right fit at international level. He doesn’t have the power to get through those little half breaks, doesn’t have the passing game to get others through them and promising plays die, and is a bit light so gets bullied and bashed in contact. It’s hard as I know we’re skinny in this position but maybe we get a healthy Hodge in there.

If the Wallabies can keep the pace up, McDermott is gonna be a real threat from 55-60mins, or whenever. Holes have been made in close channels already.
I agree with Slim - like to see Valetini in further - bit wasted out wide right now.
I want to see Wright run with some intent - he checks his runs too much and probably misses some possible half-holes.
To'omua having a mixed bag with some good and bad. Overall they have been a bit better than last week. Left some points out there, whereas last week not so much in the first half.

We're getting past the gain line. We just need to support and passing options rather than always just going to ground and risking turnover.
