Sad affair really. The kid had talent but I fear 4-6 years out of the game will be the end of him. He will need to focus on other things in life now. Silly, silly mistake to make too and I suspect a lot of it in trying to get back on track in order to qualify for RWC selection. Did not work in the first place and even if it did, he would have been caught.

Both brilliant players. Smith one of my all time favourite Bok players. Schalk always got all the plaudits, but Smith did more than his fair share as well.
