It will take an hour to describe what 1970 will be like
I thought their 15 was pretty goodForce played their GF against NSW and petered out from there. Apart from Vui, hard to see any other Australian selections but I like the way they mostly stuck with their locals to give them every chance.

Ok another close week (with the results at least) as the Reds and the young brumbies take their wins.
Had two new entrant this week Rugby Mum 2 and Farmer, welcome guys. Unfortunately rm2 didn't quite get it her own way, but gave some great input during the week and won the "Golden Oracle" award for the week. Well done rm2.
The results this week had 4 perfect game picks: linespeed, HTC, Sage & Farmer; however the points difference winner was HTC with -14. No new leader as linespeed maintains his lead. well done to linespeed!
Linespeed 2/2 -18
Sage 2/2 -18
Farmer 1/1 -11
HTC 2/2 and -14
RugbyMum2 1/2 -61
Overall
Linespeed 4/4 -32
Farmer 1/1 -11
Sage 7/8 -80
HTC 6/8 -142
Thebreakdown 1/2 -25.
RugbyMum2 1/2 -61
Well done guys. Don't forget all are welcome to give their view and score differences. Enter at any stage.
Next week two more great games. Will Gen Blue be inspired by Rugby Mum's tongue lashing? Can the Reds continue on their winning ways and take two in a row?.

The award Sage gave you may be the only thing you win with those scores. Thanks Sage for my award, undeserved of course but at least someone from NSW won.
I found out that someone "accidentally" swapped the "Once Were Warriors" DVD to "The Notebook", the penultimate chic flick, so its no wonder the boys were a bit emotional. All sorted this week though- Vikings and Braveheart on a continuous loop.

You must have missed that offload by the 12 that resulted in a try.So, I watched the Reds v's Blues on the weekend. What terrible game of football. Let me qualify this by saying I had a kid playing in it. I always like to watch the warm ups, always think you can tell basic skills from that. The Reds second no.2 didn't land one line out throw at all, the 12 cannot pass. Very basic skills that by now should be well and truely in place.
During the game I noticed that both teams only ran to contact, never looking for gaps, off loads, counter attack etc. Absolutely no counter rucking, until the second half back for the Reds came on and got a steal. We had a no.9 who only passes, a 10 who basically only kicks, and a twelve old can't pass.
I really don't believe most of this is a failure in the players, more so the coaching! The most boring and unoriginal game plan ever! Now, some of you might say 'but they won, easily'. The problem with that is that is, if they were to play any NZ provincial U20's team the Reds would get done by 30 odd and the blues by 80 odd.

Good numbers Sage however I do think NSW are hurting right now and will want to win this next crucial game, seen as they were piped at the post last year, they will come out fighting and give it their all, as Mum said they'll be in that continuous loop and that with the coach kicking their butts, they should pull through for a narrow win.Ok my picks for the week.
