2015 NRC Photograph of the Year

A picture paints a 1000 words.

Nearly every NRC Game has had at least one "Official" Gaggerland photographer assigned to it.

Many photos have been taken by them. Of the many photographs taken, not many are included in the Blog Front Page Match reports.

While crowds haven't been massive, many of the spectators have been taking photographs for twitter or facebook posts.

Post your NRC picture in this thread. The best will be selected for a Blog Front Page vote.

Try to keep the file size of the initial images "small" if you can because many G&GR folks have slow internet connections, or are on limited data plans.

If your pic is selected in the cut for the finals, a separate "conversation" will be held with you to try and source a "higher" quality image for the Front Page "Picture of the Year" vote.

Firstly, I think we need to acknowledge @Sully's effort from the 2014 Final as the greatest NRC photo ever taken !

I only made it to one game this year (so far), so these are my favourites

You're not on your own. I've barely made a game. Work is very busy and my father is quite ill. Not much time for my passions at the moment.

Sully's shot was my fav shot of 2014 and I could not believe it when it did not make the cut for the 2014 NRC Photo of the Year Comp.

Yep. Awesome shot from Sully! I liked his one a couple of clicks on though, where the ball dots down and Laloifi's legs are outside the plane of touch.

The first shows debutant Filipe Vilitati, who moved to Australia from Fiji with Island Breeze Rugby Plus (same program that brought us Sefanaia Naivalu) scoring a try, and the second shows Jonah Placid and a Brisbane City player (?) outstretched reaching for the pill on the deck

First one is former Rebels teammates Jordy Reid & Scott Higginbotham post-game, Round Two Melbourne Rising vs. Brisbane City at Harlequin Rugby Club, Melbourne.

The second is the sheer relief for Ben Meehan + Lopeti Timani, post-game Round Seven Melbourne Rising vs. NSW Country Eagles, Simonds Stadium, Geelong.

My own effort, pinched from a screen shot of the live stream. All merit is in the act captured not the quality of the picture. Two hookers shaking hands at the first scrum of the game. WTF?
