Just like to say that I know that generally this thread is more about Aussie u20s, if you have a glance at NZ's coaching lineup, we maybe seeing the future of NZs coaching as well as players. Razor Robertson, assisted by Tana Umaga and Leon MacDonald.
Also see Damian McKenzie has been pulled from squad as Chiefs may need him with Cruden being injured, a big loss for NZ, though he been replaced by Otere Black, 19yo 10 who played for Manawatu in ITM and has been on bench for Canes a couple of times this year!

Sending my Far North Coast Friends to Bond tomorrow to run their eye over the Aus boys v Samoa. They reckon that ground surface will still be ok.for a good game of footy. They also remind us north italy in june can be very stifling just sitting around sipping cocktails and peronis so the boys need to be "aerobically" very fit for this JWC.
They should be playing best side first and always in this comp like NZ will do.
You should start with best 23 and work from there not the other way around I believe.
You dont adopt this practice in any other form of game by placing best players on pine while you experiment .
The laboratory is closed the Thesis needs to be tabled.
Good luck Aussies do your very best for yourselves and us tragic supporters.

Happy Birthday to Jack Redden.

AUS v SAM
Try to Lolo Faka'osilia off a maul. Not converted. AUS 5 - SAM 0
45 m PK for goal from centrefield from Andrew Deegan is good. AUS 8 - SAM 0
10 m gone
15 Samoa C Tiatia takes PK but misses. Score remains AUS 8 SAM 0.
Meat Pie to Christian Yassmin. AUS 13-0. Deegan is good with the extras. AUS 15 - SAM 0.
OOps. Meat pie to 11 Samoa (Southern Districts Hobbits own Trent Winterstein) in the corner. Conversion from Joshua Ioane was no good. AUS 15 - SAM 5 - 17 minutes to go until oranges.
#20 Olly Camp on for AUS - maybe Faka'osilia Gunn off.
Redden Pua'auia ? off for Tyson Davies. Might have been blood bin.
A Deegan lines up PK from just outside 22m centrefield. AR's raise their flags. AUS 18 SAM 5 with 15m 22 s until oranges.

Meat pie off a lineout maul to Brad Wilkin. AUS 23 - SAM 5. Deegan hits upright with conversion attempt and it doesn't cannon in. No change to score. Just over 5m left to oranges.

^^ You're correct. My typo. Corrected now.

Pretty good kicking performance from the NZL kickers. Some conversions nailed from the sideline. Only 1 missed all day.

Second half - AUS v SAM

Brace of Meat Pies for Yassie. Christian Yassmin scores in the far corner. AUS 28 - SAM . Deegan nails the conversion from touch. AUS 30 - SAM 5.

Fereti Sa'aga (128 kg) on for Tyrell Lomax.

Lukhan L-Tui on for Ned Hanigan - 18 minutes to go.

Aaron Plesch, Tyson Davies, and Harry Nucifora warming up on the sidelines.

Samoa blow a chance to get meat after multiple phase attack on AUS line.

Replacements for AUS on. Redden, Tuttle, and Orr off.

SAM breakout from quick tap PK. 14 Ah-Mu Tuimalealiifano (from Vic) scores on the far touch line. Conversion no good.
AUS 30 SAM 10. 10 minutes to go.

Folau Fainga on for Campbell McInerney.

6 minutes left. SAM making much of the play but probably too little too late.
AUS seem to have lost some composure and momentum as the bench was emptied.

Time is nearly up and SAM penalised from a scrum in front. AUS take the shot which Deegan duly slots to take the score to 33 - 10.

Siren goes as SAM kick off. Last play.

Sir has had enough and toots on the Acme Thunderer for no game.

Final Score: AUS 33 SAM 10. (H/T 23-5)
AUS:4 tries to Yassmin 2, Faka'osilia and Wilkin.
SAM: 2 tries to Tuimalealiifano and Winterstein.

NZL looking ominous, but weren't really challenged.

Didnt see game but heard the Aussies were strong for an hour then became slow.Tired maybe hope not complacency.
ABs will be fantastic test for the boys and we know they play for 80 mins plus.
Did we really kick a penalty with 1minute to go and 20 out dominating Samoan scrum??
Whose idea was that!.

Brad Wilkin was assisted from the field with about 10 minutes to go.
Was told it looks like a Grade-1 hamstring strain, but hasn't had a scan yet.

If a grade-1 strain he would be out for 2-3 weeks. So out of the Oceania tournament but hopefully still available for Italy

Does anyone know if there is a way to record live streaming. Or whether the games will be available on these websites to watch 'on demand' at a later time?

You can watch it again on the Oceania site.

It has a re-watch button. I don't know if you can demand it any time or if it can be re-watched only when scheduled - but it has just started as I write this.

What's the go with with Michael Gunn?
And I just finished watching it online just then.
Hit the arrows to the side and it just scrolls through for the game.
