Like 2013, the Wallabies get to play New Zealand back to back to start the tournament.

The overall draw makes sense from a travel perspective, but they should turn it around every second year (round 6 becomes round 1, round 5 becomes round 2, etc.) to even up some of the possible outcomes. If Aust or NZ lose the first two rounds in a year then they are effectively out of the race. If SA win both the first two rounds (very likely) then they have a very solid base to build on. To reverse the order every second year makes it fairer for all.

I'm going to predict the draw for 2114.
RD1: Aus v NZ, RSA v Arg
RD2: NZ v Aus, Arg v RSA
RD3: Aus v RSA, NZ v Arg
RD4: Aus v Arg, NZ v RSA
RD5: RSA v Aus, Arg v NZ
RD6: Arg v Aus, RSA v NZ

Seems like Australia is making unnecessary flights. Why fly 5 hours to play the Saffers when we could have forced them to come to the Eastern coast. Then our players could have spent a couple of weeks in their own timezone (as we play the Argies in the GC) to fly to the republic and adjust during the bye week.

Because Perth is home to one of our Super Rugby teams and they get a test pretty much every year.

Hard to try and grow the game if we cite the reason we don't want to play in Perth as that it is too far away from the east coast.

Don't we have the Frenchies coming out here to play three games + mid week games? The Gold Coast doesn't have a super rugby team (and it's a shit fight for everyone including residents of the GC to get to). Canberra have also missed out.

I'd trade the South African game any day of the week for a game against France. Might not get such a good crowd though. Perth is chockers full of South Africans.

Perth is almost a home game for the Saffers. Play the French there at NIB stadium - Wallabies V Boks will fill Etihad stadium better than Wallabies V France will.
