Evidently there's an Aussie playing for Southland. Cornforth. Played for the Aussie 7s team.

Played for the Canberra Vikings or Brumby Runners a few years ago. Out of the JID comp. Always thought he was a bit light for Super rugby, but looks to have put on some muscle and is playing good football.

Dear kiwis,

Do you have an ITM cup type tournament for your Under 20s and/or Under 18s/19s running in parallel with the main ITM cup games or is their some other sort of competition for these age groups?

Completely off-topic but is anyone else having issues with Disqus comments not loading since their iPad self-updated to ios7? Really frustrating as the comments are usually the best bit

There is an age grade comp with in S15 confrences HJ, for U20 and U18 (I think), not sure if U16 and U14 tournaments till go on.

So only just noticed in the Auckland- Wellington game that the ref is not enforcing the straight feed at the scrum. They are doing it old school and rolling it in behind the hookers feet. Has this been going on in all the other games? Makes the scrums 100% tidier.

Can't believe the quality running around in the ITM cup. They could create a team out of the ITM teams that would equal the Wallabies.

Last 3 weeks of Top 14 not one crooked feed as been called. That is in comparison to an average of 10 per week previously. That's not saying the scrum halves are feeding it correctly, definitely a change in attitude from the refs.

Whoa!!!

Settle down. Don't forget that its a championship with the talent spread over 14 teams with a mix of pro's and amateurs. I agree that's its high quality for its level but its not Super Rugby quality.

Fine for me on both Chrome and Safari on my iPad3.

Happy to see my ITM cup team Hawkes Bay get up against Premiership leaders Wellington.

Gee whiskers, that Ihaia West has some toe, and an ability to pull a try out of the bag at the critical time in a tight game.

His defence is a little Quade-esque but he is exciting on attack.

Rumour has it that the Rebels may be sniffing around this lad.

It would be a good move for him as there is a log jam of international class #10's ahead of him in NZ.

The question is, does he have an Aussie grandma?

Semi finals start tonight.

Wellington v Counties and Canterbury v Auckland in the premiership.
Tasman v Southland and Otago v Hawkes Bay in the championship.

Backing all the home teams, but only confident about Canterbury beating the Jaffas, the other 3 could go either way.

In an interesting note, all of the provincial teams that make up the Crusaders franchise have made the semi finals of the ITM Cup and Heartland comp - Canterbury, Tasman, West Coast, Mid Canterbury and South Canterbury.

Just catching the Tasman vs Hawkes game. How does Ihaia West not have a Super rugby gig yet?
You have to wonder don't you Charger, reckon someone must surely be trying to sneak him in somewhere. Also wonder why Buckman from HB hasn't got one, he a pretty handy 13.
Geez that was one of hell of an exciting final, played at 100mph, few missed tackles to keep excitement uo etc, and right down to conversion being missed on fulltime for Tasman to hold on. Also read even had a tasty blonde doing a streak at the end of halftime.....ahh rugby finals ya gotta love em!!

Ihaia West has been linked with the Rebels by some Gaggerland punters.

They are trying to find an Oz Grandparent.
