Kearns calling for Quade to come in at 10 with Barnes at 12. And admitting that we were destroyed up front and at the breakdown.

Cooper would make difference because of two reasons I think:
1) he will do more with the limited ball he gets on the front foot, Barnes was way too conservative and too often ignores width, and
2) he plays flatter, so it is easier for his runners to get over the advantage line, Barnes tend to stand too deep.

The cost is that he will make more mistakes, but you can't roll out a set of inside backs who are all convservative when your pack is, frankly, pretty bloody average.

Agree with Horne's passing, would like to see him find his outside man more.

Genia is a key player so when you're in with a sniff he's hardly going to be replaced.

So why have the guy on the bench? Unless you know you're never going to use him...

At what point would it ever be appropriate to take Genia off - to be replaced by Phipps? When we're 30 in front? Against the ABs? Puhlease.

Have just finished rolling around on the ground. I love how the Oz zealots show such venom in describing McCaw as a cheat among a host of other 'aggressive' comments about all black rugby, yet seem unable to recognise their own hypocrisy labelling another as a 'joker' is considered aggressive. At the risk of also offending the sensibilities of the refined Australian supporter, put away the make-up, lock up the hand bags (yes, the door is open.) and lets face the truth, this soft underbelly is the reason Oz rugby is where it is. Stop whinging and do something about it on the field!!! If McCaw is in fact getting away with cheating, then do something about it.

please, no righteous comments that such tactics are beneath Oz rugby.I still remember the liverpool kiss delivered by Tommy Lawton, the cheap shot on J. Marshall by G. Smith in 2003. Not saying NZ haven't done our share, but.

I really wasn't going to comment, but too funny for school.
I'm impressed you've tied an earlier exchange bout the 2007 RWC QF, Graham Henry and a statistical analysis into this little effort of yours. Well played. It might take us all a while to find the relevance, however. But I sincerely thank you all the same.

Injury. One of the specialist positions that someone needs to be able to play if the started goes down.

2008 first Bledisloe on now on FoxSports 3 for anyone who wants to see the Wallabies do a bit better. Thorn just got binned.

Gee not many players from that Wallaby side played tonight.

It really doesn't matter how many comments you make up about other alleged incidents, McCaw is a cheat regardless so stop being a sook - the fact you're grumbling when you won easily demonstrates unprecedented levels of sookiness.

NZ were so much better tonight than Oz and yet NZ were well below their best relatively speaking. Troubling indeed.

I felt passion & effort was there from the Wallabies but execution was lacking, Why ? who would know the answer but them. I believe these players are good enough but I don't think they do. They were not far off tonight & I think they scared an Island of Kiwi's, they need a huge injection of "I think I can" . I feel better use of the bench is imperative in the last 20 min, that includes Genia, Sharpe & Ionie.

They did take us to school didn't they? If only we'd played a little better they may have taught us some more lessons.
I wish the lessons had been taught - alas the Wallabies seem not to learn them. Hit the breakdown, get off the line in defence, attack with movement, not static non-distributors (forwards and backs) and so on. And, deep breath, CATCH THE FUCKING BALL YOU NUMPTIES!

Have to say that the team we turned out looks a darn sight better than the one tonight, particularly the forward pack. Horwill in particular is sorely missed from those still around, Palu too. Gits and Barnes going well on attack and defence too.

A lot closer on the scoreboard than what I thought it would be, but still looked reasonably comfortable for the all blacks. They are a great side.

Disappointed again that we didn't get up over them.

I think the wallabies would better serve if Horne looked for someone to pass it to outside the stadium: the guy is not test match standard.
How can we play 2 locks that play so wide and pick Higgers: someone has to do the grunt work.

You're going to lose anyway if Genia gets injured. So why bother?

I don't think we rely on 1 player & how would we know anyway we don't play anyone else at 9 !
