Stormers draw:
Newlands:
Highlanders,Force, Reds, Crusaders
Tour:
Chiefs, Blues, Brumbies, Rebels.

Just silly to have a bye in week 1 and have to play Craders the one week at home and the next week Chiefs in NZ.

Tahs dont play Hurricanes & Stormers. We still have to go to Chch to play Crusaders, but they are slow starters and we get the lions at home. 2 games at ANZ, Reds week 2 (confirmed) Brumbies week 18 (unconfirmed)

what do you mean "unconfirmed"? It's all confirmed in the draw on the first post.

That's ridiculous. Feb to July.

Now that I see the schedule in black and white this conference home and away things looks like total overkill.

As the old saying goes. Too much of a good thing...

Well, one team must have a bye every week because there are 15 teams...

But if every team had one bye and the comp was one week longer, then every team could play every team. Or, teams could have one mid-week game and one bye and the comp would be the same length. Or is my logic all screwy?

I can already hear it:

"How can team X call themselves champions when they never played my team Y"

I am increasingly starting to dislike the whole concept.

It's great for Australia becuase this is the closest we will get here to more tier 1 rugby but SA and NZ did not need more derbies. It's a cross subsidisation miracle pulled off by JON. Fair play to him.

Squad depth is going to be critical. Injury count will be higher. The International coaches are goign to be shitting themselves in the World Cup year.

Well, at least three of them anyway.

Too much Rugby??? More high quality games. Generally more games every week. What's not to like (apart from the logo)?

Exactly. I like it.
I get to see my team play more often, and the season doesn't end as soon as it starts as is the case now.
