Hawko

Tony Shaw (54)
Genia
Hodgson
Cooper
TPN

In that order. Though some others have played well these four have been on a different planet.

Can't fault that top 4.

From the Force, Sharpe is probably unlucky he was not as selected, but not as crazy as Hodgson not being there.

From the Reds, Ioane and Hynes perhaps unlucky to miss out, but they are in a team where Braid, Cooper and Genia have been fantastic.

Not sure who deserves to be there from the Brumbies and Tahs as well. Maybe McCabe, who is the only guy I can seeing beating Douglas for the Rookie award. I think I'd give it to McCabe, still I wouldn't put McCabe in the top 10.

Not sure on the selection of Hangers. He's been good, but I wouldn't have put him in the top 10 performers. Alexander is maybe another lucky to be there, as I would've liked his set peices work to have been better. His work around the park has been arguably the best of the Australian props, but he hasn't gone the best at loosehead.

I think it's unfair on the Reds players you nominated to also nominate a Waratahs player along side them. Rookie of the year surely has to go to Simmons or somebody else from the Reds, surely. Maybe Jack Kennedy's match winning performance tonight will sky rocket him into favouritism.

Is Ben Alexander going to go down as the prop who has scored most tries in a season???

don't overlook Will Chambers as a rookie.

Don't think Simmons or Davies can be considered rookies, as they played last year.

Jake Schatz is pretty much our only other option.

Kane Douglas is the leading candidate from the Tahs (although the chris Alcock cameo was fantastic) and would probably lead the field with Pat McCabe.

Also from the Brums you COULD consider Fainga'a and Hooper, but they are not in the same class as Chambers, Douglas, McCabe or even Shatz I reckon.

From the West its Mitch Inman and Ben McCalman.

If I was to select the 4 the ARU will come up with it'd be:

Chambers
Douglas
McCabe
Inman

Brumbies Guy
