Honestly feel they have a big problem on the financial front. Their wisemen havent woke up and do something about the NPC format. Maybe if they play more a strength vs strength like we have in our CC they'll get more supporters in the grounds but then I am not a expert of their game. They should also have a rethink about central contracting and maybe look at the SA provincial model. This may give their S14 franchise more a local feel to it and getting more support at their matches. Think they should bring back afternoon tests and match in NZ specially during winter months.

This new S15 format is going to kill their and SA rugby in the future.

Making a WC loss , simply sound stupid to me. :nta: Maybe we put a spell on them after backing them to get this WC and then they drop us like they did in the Poofball WC to give a stupid rugby country like Japan this tournament.

If they cant do hedging, vokket what are they doing over there. ::)

the hedging was speculated by somebody on a message board - doesn't make it fact! There is only so much you can hedge, you always need to take risk of some sort.

I get sick of repeating this ad bloody nauseum, the poofball WC debacle was a Scot representating Oceania... who was told the NZ vote was for SA. how we get stuck with the blame I don't know.

The screw up that NZRFU made ws creating franchises then simply expecting people to bond to them. The super rugby concept is now 15 years old, so it's starting to happen, but there is too much rugby in the calender to make the NPC more profitable than it is. The stereotype of NZers leaving, breathing, can't get enough of rugby is outdated to say the least. Kiwi's love their rugby, but only so much of it. Feb is still hot as hell, who wants to be watching rugby then?

The centralised contract thing is there to spread the talent around as much as possible, which only partially works.

As for your afternoon game idea, we all know that, but the coffers which do contribute to the NZRFU is mainly from broadcast money which must be maximised, hence our games must be played to suit NH televeision.

So, in a nuthsell PB.. you have some good ideas there, but you don't know what your talking about! (with all due respect)

Thats why I say the new S15 will hurt us.

Regarding the hedging, maybe they should contact Louis Luyt. He made that outstanding decision when Super Rugby started when he ask to be paid by US Dollars. Vokken saved rugby a fortune that decision.

Would like to know which one I dont know what I am talking about?

The fact that SA helped you lot getting the rugby world cup or the two times you lot bite us on the arse when you voted in both the poofball and rugby against our bid?
