Not sure if you have had a reply yet, couldn't find one. New TGS coach coming from NZ, apparently impeccable credentials. Wouldn't write TGS off just yet, a few Qld 16 reps from lat year.

    Isn't Mack "one of three"?

No-one would have heard of him but Matt Burke from Scots College in Warwick. Blind side flanker, will mess some more fancied rivals up.

Didnt see him play but heard good things. played every minute of every game so must have been doing something right.

Word of mouth at the moment I think ippylad. Up the range boys faired well, TGS 1 in the Schoolboys, 2 in the A's. Downlands one in the A's.

If someone has a genuine injury then yes, rest them. Otherwise eight games of rugby a season isnt a real lot.

Swarley, BGS beat Downlands in the firsts but lost every other A game. This is a forum about U16's. Downlands are undefeated in U16 games this year. Say what you like, they can only beat who is put on the field. How did Australia go against Scotland this year, that was a "Test Match". If sides...

Sorry Light, I meant they would not want to let TGS get the ball past the flyhalf, very good outside backs.

Anyone heard of Mack Mason? He was reserve No10 for Qld U16's last year so surely he should rate a mention this year. Been injured this year but back to full fitness. Dont write the Downlands kids off, like it or not they drew with BSHS and beat Nudgee and BGS so far this year. This is with...

Lets just remember that a lot of tour games are tradition. I think there are only five at tops, rugby schools in Canberra. Grammar, St Eddies, Daramalan and I am allowing for a couple I havent heard of, so yes they may have been short a couple each. I am pretty sure we all played the game for...

Tuttle played did he, nice. The best players should be playing.

I take it no-one wants to think there will be any a@#e kickings in this first round. Nudgee by 30, Churchie by 20, Terrace would be insane to play full side, Havent seen TSS play this year so cant comment. BGS by 10. Churchie would not want to let the ball get past the flyhalf.

Not just the fringe selections but the players who were legitimately injured at the time of the selections. Jonah Placid from TGS is a case in point, hopefully will go close to making a Qld Side despite returning from injury. One kid who really enjoys playing the game for the right reasons...

Word on the street one Nudgee follower had a five thousand dollar bet that they wouldnt lose a match against Downlands on the weekend. Wonder if he has to pay 3 x $5000?

All three were listed in the program but Inside Centre Tuttle certainly didnt play. If it was Shipperley at outside centre he played strongly without being outstanding. Sorry, dont know the current crop of players by sight yet.

Nudgee 37 v Downlands 5. I bet Nudgee know that they played a game yesterday. Although not full strength without Tuttle and co, very slick backs that made the most of every Downlands mistake, which unfortunately there were a few unforced ones. Downlands would have had the most territory but...
