    AIC Rugby 2013

2011 was indeed a very competitive year as shown in the AIC 1 vs GPS 1. I had watched the game where AIC 1 dominated in the first half but were hit back in a nail biting second half loss ending 26-19. The competition was very strong back then where many of the boys were signed with nrl clubs.

Ashgoves has hired a Strenght and Conditioning company called Acceleration Australia to help them out over the past years for all their sports. Each boy at the school has a particular program set out for the sport they play. ie swimming boys get their own, rugby gets their own... Someone...

Seems to me like everyone is not expecting Moses Sorovi (Peters 9 2012 and QLD U16) not to get picked for AIC 1. He plays fast rugby and isn't afraid to run at the line when need be.

If you see my older posts you can figure out that I am an Ash supporter. I have seen Bryne play since U14 for Ash and GPS and would prefer Yak over him based on current performances. I know for a fact that Ash players are overrated by posters on the forum.

Yak over byrne's anyday. ps don't support your mates when they aren't good enough (ASH)

Yak and Ozane from Iona were standouts in the game. Brad Wilkin didn't play as well as you would expect an Australian repressentative. I would see Yak up there in AIC 1.

Iona just beat Ashgrove 40+ to 16. Congratulations to Iona on what will be an undefeated premiership.

Why would you choose digger over rodwell (NC) The boy had some great games in Japan with some very big hits. He is in ais for a reason

So Guys as seen from previous posts posted by yous, it seems you are only backing your mates up. However these argument is more like who will be full back for AIC 2. Adrian Henley will make AIC 1 because of his experience. Eddies fans saw what he is capable of on the weekend. What can you say...

    AIC Rugby 2013

Mate this is a pretty good prediction. Dawson for the big hits against the bigger GPS boys and manning to run around them. The Backrow would be the best Aic has had in a while with two Aussie school reps and Clark in his second year of Aic 1. However his form has dropt since his shoulder...

Does anyone know the age limit for the opens division? I say this because eddies have Rory Humphries who is practically 19 playing against 15, 16 and 17 year olds! It's like having a 1st xv player versing a 15As and 14As player!

    AIC Rugby 2013

I would put junior at 7 over Clark.

    AIC Rugby 2013

Slippery game at Ashgrove today. Eddies dominated the scrums and rucks. Not sure what happened with the Ashgrove team as their backline lacked the line speed they possessed in the last games. Eddies used every opportunity they had gaining many metres in each play. Ashgrove seem to have been over...

Y He does lack pace but I do not see the eddies backline really dominating ashgroves because of this. Eddies in my opinion fail in the forwards which gives ashgrove an edge. The ashgrove pack is much bigger, fitter and play smart rugby. Both eddies and Marist have their majority of players...

The coaches seem to prefer size over skill. Look at the wingers for example.
