Waratahs Crusaders Friday 31st May 5:40pm AEST

agree 100%. yes there were some questionable reffing decisions, but the tahs lost that game. there was a moment about ten to fifteen minutes into the second half when the tahs were up 10-22, and the crusaders bombed a set-piece move with a forward pass. the crowd groaned - nothing was...

Waratahs vs Chiefs Super Rugby Rd 10, Fri 19 April 2013

i thought the first 40minutes were proof of what the tahs are capable of. yes the chiefs were "off their game", but i think they were simply rattled by the intensity and quality of the tahs game. it's baffled me all year - how the collective talent of this team consistently plays sub-par. the...

chris latham? fair enough, perhaps i should have said 30 years...

Waratahs vs Hurricanes - Super Rugby 2012 Rd 15

the thing is, the original concept of the club - at least at this level - is dead. this is a franchise. a club used to represent where your roots were. it had heart and represented something special to be part of. you were proud of the badge on your heart and you played for it accordingly...

2012R14 The battle of the TAHS (Chee vs Wara)@ Osfontein.

agreed. i think that is what is so frustrating about watching them - they have the potential to be so much better than they are playing. the forwards are as good as any pack in super rugby. their scrum has proven to be one of the best - wasn't it against the stormers they won a tight head...

    Waratahs 2012

i agree. mckibbin's goal kicking is an asset, but it's not enough of an asset to keep him in the team - in my opinion.

    Waratahs 2012

i have to agree. yes the injury list is long but there is more than enough talent on hand. it's not so much that the tahs are getting beaten, more that they are the architects of their own demise - too many schoolboy errors. that's why it's so frustrating - their talent and capability is...

    Waratahs 2012

the tahs are killing me - it's an exercise in pain and frustration watching them play. such a bumbling display from what should essentially be a very good team. and whilst his goal kicking is very good, mckibbin has to go. too many poor passes and "deer in a headlight" moments getting caught...

    What has happenned to advantage

agreed. there was one point where the tahs turned the ball over 10 metres out from the brumbies line, the brumbies started to go wide and 2 or 3 passes later joubert calls out "advantage over". i couldn't believe it.

    Playing at Homebush - why?

    fingers crossed... c'mon the tahs!

    Playing at Homebush - why?

do they? the reds game in round two drew something like 35,000 didn't it? i remember thinking they could have filled the sfs. and back then they were hopeful of breaking all kinds of records with that game. i just don't think people like going out there - there's no atmosphere.

    Playing at Homebush - why?

it frustrates me no end that the tahs are playing such an important game away from their "home". anz stadium is a terrible venue, with little to no atmosphere even when it's full. i realise the importance of gate-takings for the financial health of the waratahs, but surely the result in this...
