Who do you think the 3 LHPs will be then?

    Wallabies 2025

So is Alex Hodgman going to be fit in time for the series? If he's out, perhaps there's a decent chance that Aiden Ross gets a call up.

    Wallabies 2025

I see yes - well you can see how fucked we would have been if we'd gone with a 6/2. That was extremely unlucky though Has schmidt ever gone with a 6/2 bench?

    Wallabies 2025

you might be right. But from memory (which could be wrong) Robbie Deans went with a 6/2 split in the first test in the last lions series and we lost a couple backs in the first half and I think Hooper ended up having to play centre and it kinda fucked us... it's a bit of a role of the dice for sure.

He's definitely in my squad. Just not sure we can fit 2 no.7s in the 23.... unless your going with a 6/2 bench. On that point, If hypothetically you were going to go with Tom Lynagh to start and Donaldson on the bench. You might be able to get away with 6/2 split on the basis that Donaldson can...

Surely there's no chance that Schmidt is picking Kellaway ahead of Potter. For me he's been the most consistent winger from the aussie side.

Yeh good call I forgot he was coming over. Would be a great addition to the squad.

    Wallabies 2025

For me the stand out props are easy to prick: LHP - Bell, Hodgman THP - AAA, Nongoor I assume the squad will include 6 props altogether. Gets a bit tougher from there. THP lots of options (Toomaga Allen, Robertson, Tupou, De Luttis). If i was betting man I'd still imagine Tupou will be given...

    Wallabies 2025

I'd go with 4.Willams 5.Frost 6. Wilson 7. McReight 8. Valetini And a bench of 19.LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 20. Gleeson I think that's pretty close to what Schmidt was going with last year and I think it's a well balanced 2nd row / back row If Wilson is injured I'd probably be minded to chuck either Uru or...

Any update on whether Wilson or Faessler will make it back for the finals?

ha as soon as I read that they were looking at him to play 9 I was like this has to be a joke then checked the date.

One of the issues with tupou is that with his current fitness you cant really put him on the bench...if your starting tight head goes down in the first 20 mins he's just not going to get over the finish line. Your best bet is to get 35 45 mins out of him until he runs out of gas. But honestly...

    Wallabies 2025

Agree with most of this but:- 1. I'd have Nonggorr ahead of Robertson and De Luttis. I think he's better than Robertson in basically every aspect of play. De Luttis a tad inexperienced. 2. For me BPA is a lock, ahead of Pollard and Porecki. 3. Gleeson instead of Leota 4. Potter instead of Kellaway

    Wallabies 2025

Guys are going to be breathing heavy and fatigued in the last quarter of the game. If they're arent, they aren't trying hard enough honestly. I definitely would have agreed with the sentiment in previous seasons where the Aussie team would so often fall to pieces in the final 20 minutes, but it...

    Queensland Reds 2025

Question - is it legal for the opposition jumper to jump across into the opposition line. I always thought that was illegal. Saw the force do that on one occasion last night and were rewarded with the turnover

    Reds v Force 7pm Sat 29th March, Rd 7

For me it was hard to judge to much from the 10s given the conditions, but id have to say donaldson never really imposed himself on the game. Not great conditions but as the 10 he probably has to bare some of the blame for the force being unable to capitalise on their possession

    Reds v Force 7pm Sat 29th March, Rd 7

I cant argue with the sentiment from force fans that they probably have won. Id feel the same way. As a reds fan im hoping it speaks more to a win culture / mentality that comes with consistent success. They did the same thing to the force earlier in the season and managed to come from behind...

Reds need wilson, mcreight and faessler back on the field if they are going to take advantage of their place on top of the ladder

Enjoyed the game. Initial thoughts: - looking at the team sheets ill admit i was worried about this one and my concerns were warranted. Force outplay reds for large portions of that game..the less said about the lineout the better. Still the sign of a great side is being able to pull out a win...

Hurricanes vs Waratahs Super Rugby R7 2025 - Friday 28 March

Thoughts on the game: -I thought the tahs were playing ok for the first 55 odd minutes until the wheels fell off. The canes clearly had a plan to attack the breakdown and the tahs just couldnt get any momentum. I thought the refs probably let the canes get away with a bit too much at the...
