    CAS Rugby 2025

I believe they have played 3. Against Canberra, Joeys and Oakhill

    CAS Rugby 2025

Yes, which would have made for a closer game but who knows if they would have been able to beat a dominate Barker side which should take out the CAS title this year.

    NSW AAGPS 2025

Payton is all class, and an U16 boy too.

    U16 schoolboy rugby

Yes, I did watch last season. I also watched the Under 15 State Champs, Sydney Regionals, U15 Waratah Next Gen & U15 Gen Blue, so feel I know which team has the cattle to win. The only question is how many of the u16 boys end up playing in the Opens or are ruled out because of injury. I accept...

    NW Schools Rugby Championship

Or Norwest from Arndell. But they've been doing that for a while now

    CAS Rugby 2025

I didnt watch the game but Brock Prideaux was probably on the wing. He's been playing great footy in the U18 Waratahs side.

    ISA 2025

In that case Hayden Lavercombe is also an Oakhill boy:)

    U16 schoolboy rugby

I believe it might be Levi, Thomas, and Rory. They’re all great players, but hopefully, the Year 11 and Year 12 boys have the edge, keeping them in the 16s. Time will tell—injuries could play a role too!

    U16 schoolboy rugby

No surprise that early reports indicate several U16 Kings boys have been cut from the large group that attended Opens preseason training, leaving just three remaining in the squad. Hopefully, all three rejoin the U16A team before the season begins.

    ISA 2025

The bulk of the squad last year was from year 12 with a few year 11s and a few of appearances from year 10 (Cyrus on the wing and Lukas at 8). I have no idea if this is going to be the 2025 Oakhill 1st XV and forgive any mistakes or omissions, but I believe the only 5 boys noted below in bold...

    U16 schoolboy rugby

Yes, Weakness. When the talent pool in a particular position in year 11 or year 12 is not strong enough that a year 10 boy is picked over them, it usually means there's a weakness in the talent pool, and I threw in 'usually' for the few rare examples. Mr Risati is one of those rare examples. But...

    U16 schoolboy rugby

There are 3 players from that Two Blues team playing at Kings this year. My only point is that the Joeys 16A are the 'strongest by a stretch' may be a little optimistic. I still think they are the team to beat but it will be a close contest this year.
  13. OleMan

    U16 schoolboy rugby

How many players did Joeys have in the team that won last years Under 15 State Championship? The 'strongest by a stretch' might be a bit misleading ;) but I agree, they're a quality side. Hopefully none. That would usually indicate a weakness in the 1st XV side. Lets hope everyone fields a...

Version 37.2.6 of the ISA draw. May or may not be the last

    U16 schoolboy rugby

CAS (under 16s) 1- Barker 2- Knox 3- Waverley 4- Trinity 5- Alloys 6- Cranebrook Barker's 16s will dominate in key positions and prove too strong, especially if U15 recruit Tommy J plays up in the 16As. The battle between Knox and Waves will be a close one. GPS (under 16s) 1- Joeys 2- Kings 3-...

Haha, wasn't he. Keegan Daley will now be forever known as Tyson. And Hamasi Bloomfield will also stick, at least at school for the next few weeks.

How many boys are not playing Waratahs because of Harold Mats?
  18. OleMan

    CAS Rugby 2025

are they released publicly or just to the schools? I couldn't see them on the AAGPS Website.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

It might be obvious to some, and apologies for my ignorance but why is the GPS thread locked up?

    CAS Rugby 2025

That’s a great point. In a fully tiered competition, you could also argue there may be more 'music' scholarships being offered by CAS/GPS schools to maintain their place in Tier 1. Who knows, some ISA schools might even start offering bursaries. This would definitely create a gap between the two...
