I'd still prefer Sua'ali at inside centre.

    Designated Messiah Watch: Joseph Sua'ali'i

I'd have him at inside centre right now.

I greatly admire Kellaway for a lot of reasons - but I still think he is not fast enough.

    Wallabies 2024

Didn't Tom Lynagh's father play at inside centre on a Grand Slam tour, even though he was (and is) regarded as a true five-eighth?

    Wallabies 2024

He did get burned for pace for one of those SA tries.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

I thought it was an absolute rule- Colts could not be used in lower grades.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

I remember, back in the day, playing fourth grade against a GPS team with nine players who had played for Queensland - but they were there because they loved the game.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

I seem to remember that there used to be a rule that Colts could only play up in first or second grade. The idea was that talented Colts could go up to get some good experience, but lesser players could not be used as cannon fodder in lower grades.

Defence lacking all round? The smallest points total in any game was 50.

    Queensland Reds 2024

Vunivalu is a League winger, and they come in off their wing in defence, instead of leaving the inside to the cover defence. Wendell Sailor did it, Lote Tuqiri did it, and any other League winger we pick up will still do it.

    Queensland Reds 2024

I seem to remember Queensland touring in about 1996, just after rugby went professional, because there was talk at the time about how many players might not come back because they received big offers from British or European clubs.

Not as though anyone would be after the job.

Expect to see certain ex players bitch about the limitations placed on the team .. and expect that there will be quite a few ex players. I don't think JS (especially with Nucifora behind him) will put up with anything less than total commitment to increasing skills.

Another big loss for club rugby - Brian Kassulke, long time president of Easts, former player for Uni Q, first grade captain of Wests when they came into first grade, Queensland player - died this morning.
