    Shute Shield 2025

Easts snuck the win vs Warringah by a point - a game of backs vs forwards - Easts backs won with some very special plays. The Warringah 2nd and Back Row all over Easts - especially against Easts #7 and #4 who looked out of their depths.

    Shute Shield Colts 2025

"Match of the round again includes Rats. Easts v Rats - Easts too strong at home" Not so - Warringah too strong for Easts 1s Colts - a high scoring win for Rats 48 to 38. Easts started well, and the young Brial scored early. Rats #9, #13 and #14 very strong. Easts 1s need to strengthen their...

    Shute Shield Colts 2025

Not on tonight's showing - Sydney Uni took Easts 1s Colts to the cleaners. Easts 1s need to find some wingers who can catch and run - #11 is too small, and #14 couldn't catch (it was very wet though). Easts #10 kicked the ball a way too much also. Easts #15 played very well. Uni had gas to...

Drua v Waratahs Rd 10 Sat 19 April, 12.05PM, Lautoka

I think Adamson still made the most tackles in that game - missed 5 though, and a couple of crucial ones led to tries.

    Shute Shield Colts 2025

Watched Easts 1s Colts vs HWF before Grade games - Easts lucky to win to be honest - lacking at #11, #13 and #14 - bit of a rebuild after last year's dominance required. HWF BackRow were literally on the ball - as were most of their forwards - they won that contest.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

Momentary ball separation, I believe, that made for lost contact.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

Agreed - that was a big opportunity for Adamson to stake his claim for #7 (and he took it). He played the whole game and stepped up from last week's disappointing cameo. Wilson has the great art of support, and well deserved that try - his engine is huge.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

Completely agree - that was a game for the ages.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

    Adamson - what a pilfer!

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

That is try of the season - hats off! What a touch by #10.

Moana Pacifica vs NSW Waratahs Rd 8 Sat Apr 5

Yes - and Adamson #20 missed a crucial tackle. Not all his fault, as 3 others also missed him en route to the line.

Moana Pacifica vs NSW Waratahs Rd 8 Sat Apr 5

Just seen the stats - Waratahs 30 missed tackles will do it; 20 in the 2nd half.

    Shute Shield Colts 2025

Easts very TSC (Scots) heavy. They play very individually for the you tube reels - falls down when you move to Colts. Souths will be very happy with that win.

    Shute Shield Colts 2025

Not the best start for Easts 1s Colts - losing to Souths. Very Scots weighted team - different way of playing. Easts 2s and 3s beat Souths easily.

Moana Pacifica vs NSW Waratahs Rd 8 Sat Apr 5

Wow - went through Adamson like he wasn't there.

Moana Pacifica vs NSW Waratahs Rd 8 Sat Apr 5

I am at a loss to understand what went wrong - MP (Moana Pasifika) upped the ante for sure, the odd missed tackle here and there for Waratahs - but wow.

I've also learned you can defend at a ruck on your knees holding onto the ball.

    Financial momentum shifting away from Waratahs - 1.75 / 2.10. Anyone's game I feel.

https://www.rugbypass.com/news/bath-rugby-turnover-breaks-20m-but-losses-increase/ Bath Rugby lost GBP 3.68m in 2024 - the total debt to the single owner, Bruce Craig, is over GBP 30m - it is an interest free loan. They got some pay back recently, winning the Premiership Cup (1mio) which...

    Refereeing decisions

Off topic I know - it's a narrow range shot, but look at all the yellow shirts vs blue shirts. In slow mo, the tackler's hips hit the ground first and Jorgo's legs are caught by his chest and under arm. Looks like the last example on the NRL site for not being a HDT - fines margins as two of...
