U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

If that’s true it’s backfired on them as I hear Lematrie and Poyton have both gone to league after being dropped at the last hurdle.

You must have missed the fact that Barker were joint premiers in 2nd XV comp

Same as Walsh last year, tick the box of getting the G&G jersey in Union then sign the league contract

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

The wording was key in my view and the word was ‘committed’ and only for 2025. I’m sure those that have another year at school haven’t signed and could still go to league or overseas like some did this year and I’m sure some of that 23 won’t be playing rugby next year.

U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

IK was a class act and loved the school. He even showed up to watch the boys play Nudgee earlier this year when they were in Queensland on tour.

Well that didn’t take long. Makasini has signed a 3 year deal with the Tigers. Won’t be the last out of the winning squad sadly

    NSW AAGPS 2025

Whole system is broken, play games in February and then lock kids into multiple trainings and camps in what is for most of them their HSC year just to cut them loose at the end of the year 8 months later. It’s a cynical ploy to stop some of them playing league

    NSW AAGPS 2025

When were they mothballed? They played Tahs vs Reds in February and a full school season and school association games

    NSW AAGPS 2025

Pretty bad for some of the boys who’ve committed themselves to union all year to get dropped when leaguies who played their SG Ball season and schools league get picked in the 3rd and final squad selection and then make the trip. What message are we sending to the boys in future years. Loyalty...

What an amazing final day at Barker and a great example of what school footy can be after a tough couple of weeks but a fitting tribute to Ethan Kotarac with his brother coming on for Knox in the last 15mins of the 1st XV. Some great battles between the 2 schools across the pitch and in the...

    CAS Rugby 2024

Was a hell of a game it felt like Barker had it in the pack and Waves had the firepower in the backs. Every time that it seemed Barker had it won they invited Waves back in with penalties. Both No 8’s had immense games and would have been my MoM on both sides. Death Valley is a tough place to...

Tomorrows games moved to Joeys, GPS must have been scared of playing St Augs ISA on their home ground

    CAS Rugby 2024

Big day from the Barker pack, in particular the whole front row and No8. Lots of strong go forward and good over the ball at the breakdown with lots of turnovers. Expect to see a good number of the Barker pack across CAS 1’s and 2’s

    CAS Rugby 2024

    Barker won 29-0 in 2nds and 3rds.

You mean when you play off to see who finishes 2nd on the table on 3rd Aug

    CAS Rugby 2024

Barker up 45-5 at halftime, atrocious conditions and no Mitch Woods for St Pats

    CAS Rugby 2024

4th Barker win 24-14 3rd Barker win 29-15 Apparently 2nds is 10 aside due to Stannies having limited front rows

    CAS Rugby 2024

In the 16a’s Stannies beat Barker 10-7, Barker looked like scoring right on the bell but ref said held up

Indeed Barker is my team, and we underestimated Waves last year. I did watch the games in Japan and thought Auggies should have done a lot better was where I was coming from with their bigger pack. You’ll need your forwards to be at their best against Waves otherwise your backs won’t have any...
