I hear quite a few are injured and out of the QLD u20 side. Connor Mitchell (back), Jack Cornelson (ankle) and Jake McIntyre (hammy) will all not recover in time for u20 championships please others that got ruled out earlier. Gunn, Greene, Gale and Placid are all dropping back to the u20s and...

Sorry if this is already known.... Sam Greene was at training at Crosby Rd last night and is apparently confirmed as playing for Brothers this year. He isnt playing this Saturday's trial though. They have also picked up a few new faces but I couldnt tell you who at this stage.

Draw is out. Australia have Argentina, England and Italy in Pool games. I note some games are night games...in NZ....at night...conditions could well be a factor!.

Uni beat brothers in another close and exciting game 23 to 19 (or something like that) Gold Coast beat Souths not sure of score. GF will be Uni vs winner of GC and Brothers. Brothers worthy of being in GF and they will have Ben Hyne back now Prems are out.

    QLD Colts 2013

Brothers beat Uni in a very entertaining game. Uni bombed 3 tries on the line! I think score was 19 to 15 but Uni was winning with 5 mins to go. Beveridge was outstanding for brothers at 12 and Bergan at 7 for Uni had a cracker. Bring on next week and hopefully both teams have all players back...

Nearly all of the tries scored by Uni, and the one from Souths seemed fairly soft or looked a bit too easy. In saying that Uni do the attacking line out/rolling maul very well and Walls and Cornelson seem to show good patience at the back and have scored a few each this way this year. I thought...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Interested to hear opinions on whether Tim Buchanan and Kevin Davis leaving Uni this week will seriously hurt Their chances in the final few weeks/finals? Or do they have the depth to cover?

. I thought it was the most complete team performance all season from Uni, the names you mentioned all played well but I think more importantly their presence lifted the performance of the rest of team to the point that it was hard to pick a weakness. In saying that the injury to the speedster...

With the rain that is predicted, it will come done to a forwards battle, and Norths are a really improved outfit since the start of the season. IMO it will be close if it is wet. Not sure if Scott Gale is back this weekend, if so that will greatly assist Uni controlling which end of the field...

    QLD Colts 2013

Uni had too many guns for Wests. Wests had a few big boys that ran straight and hard and scored a good try using the big fellas for numerous pick and goes early in the game, and the number 6 never gave up all game. Uni had too much pace out wide with Banks and co running rout in the second half...

Haven't seen all the scores, but was surprised to see Norths nearly topple Souths, infact I believe Norths bombed a try to win (heard that second hand though) I watched Uni deal to Easts, and I thought that would have been a lot closer. Uni finally had the majority of there better players on...

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

I really hope the likes of Parker, Northam and co get some more ball to show us the express pace and skill they possess and that Aussie backs have been famous for over the years.

Scott Gale is certainly getting better as the season goes and maybe it took longer to recover from the knee Injury than expected, I agree that he has not been given a smooth ride behind his forwards this year. Terrin Walls really bulked up in the off season, and IMO at times it appears he is...

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

On a separate not Australia seemed so concerned with size ( Thompson said so) that quite a few talented players that went on the camps, and are currently playing perm rugby, got told they didn't make it purely on size. I think the Ireland game showed that whilst size is important, it isn't...

Responding to the request of The Oldest Rat, i have signed up and am a first time poster, so here goes! Seen most of the prem colts teams go und this year, so was surprised to see Norths topple Easts. In saying that they have some good ball running forwards that spark up close to the try line...
