Yes Rod. 5 weeks without playing. Will definitely be rusty and match fitness will not be there which is a real shame. Nudgee have a massive advantage in this one especially being at home.

At this stage yes. I doubt it will change this close to the game too.

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Yes potentially. From my experience though, match fitness is very different from training fitness. I think they will struggle late in the game.

Actually I believe he was asked to leave the school due to disciplinary reasons. Credit to him, he improved a lot from the time he got to Knox until the end off his schooling. He actually wasn’t even the fly-half before the influx. Turned himself into a quality player though.

Fair enough RR. I will ignore the Joeys Boys. Apologies to all I have annoyed.

    Ironic.

I heard 12,000. That's also not why I came to this forum. I came to share news of a game that I'm sure most were interested in watching. I was then bombarded with childish remarks and belittling arrogant comments. At the end of the day I had moved on from this stupid conversation and you've...

Aus A team has never been the best players in their position. I believe it's picked out of kids who didn't make the Tahs or Reds academy or something along those lines. Also. All of Saihyoun, Edwards, Finau, Van Wyk, Kennedy, Livingstone, Hooper, Phillipson, Sagala and Poynton played NSW in...

Don't worry about it WLF3. I attended a GPS school so I have seen first-hand how GPS schools look down upon the CAS. Think it's time to move on. We are arguing with a brick wall unfortunately.

But no rebuttal for anything else I said... There were 12,000 at Barker vs Knox... so by your logic the CAS isn't broken either and all is well! I am unfortunately right. the GPS is arguably the most broken of the comps considering 1/3 of your association can't even compete in that said...

    CAS Rugby 2023

Yes... In the entire school... but Barker is pre-school to year 12... There is roughly 250 students per grade in the high school at Barker, half of which are girls.

I think it is also important to note Barker's rugby program goes beyond the boys. They have had a massive role in establishing a girl's sevens comp in Sydney private schools, and are a powerhouse in women's footy.

    Fair enough.

    CAS Rugby 2023

Barker had 11 players still in their 1st XV picked in a NSW team (Onitit Finau, Bryn Edwards, Sam Saihyoun, Adam Van Wyk, Will Kennedy, Thomas Livingstone, Lachlan Hooper, Doug Phillipson, Eli Sagala, Jakob Biet, and another boy who tore his ACL before the start of the season), plus one picked...

Not sure. Heard it straight from staff from the school.

Barker have beaten Joeys 5 out of the last 6 years... they are currently a better 1st XV program.

Your comp is broken too. You literally have 3 schools who don't compete and Shore who won their first game in 6 years this year...
