    NSW AAGPS 2017

Joeys will be very strong over the next 2 years. With 5 year 10's running around in opens (1sts or 2nds) and some of the stronger first xv cohort in year 11 + a big talent pool in the 16's the next 2 years looks very good. With the 5 younger boys out the 16a's still drew with Scots this year...

    CAS U16s 2017

love the thread and enthusiasm from CAS but as a GPS "spy" quick reminder that the GPS side will have plenty of size and talent running around. Some big hard running forwards in Nick Jones (NSW U15, 6.1 and 100+kg), Simeone Schmidt (NSW U15 6.4 and 120kg), Hugh Bokenham (6.3 and 90+kg) not to...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Good points for sure which is the beauty of this age group. Boys also start to develop fully too so always some great players emerge through the year too.Apart from Lachlan Albert I am not sure there are too many view boys being pushed into opens so think they will be ok. Kings is interesting -...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Order of finish for 16a's this year imo will be 1. Joeys 2. Riverview 3. Scots 4. Newington 5. Shore 6. Kings Joeys have about 8 or 9 quality rep players who have been part of the successful Gordon age team (with 3 from the u15 NSW side). Also depends what Riverview and kings do with the...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Not my place to be commenting on larger social issues on a rugby forum. IMO rugby in gps must be one of few sports who run a competition without running a competition - all I was after was a view on how the different schools go in the younger ages and agree with the idea to play a gps v cas...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Anyway good luck to all the boys who are playing tomorrow whether it is in the 13g's or the 1st 15 - I know they will all be trying to win the game on the day

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

we are talking about 13, 14 and 15 year old boys who are playing competitive games of rugby every week with the aim being to beat the other team on the day - the joy is in winning and the learning is in losing and coming back the following week . If the goal was just to develop and cocoon them...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

I think Joeys 15a's side was unbeaten over the last few seasons until a loss at Riverview this year (1 win and 1 loss puts them equal first I would imagine). Kings 14's are quite strong I believe.

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

I like that idea. I think the boys know who is winning and where they stand but no one else has a clue. It would be interesting to see how the different age groups are progressing at the different schools. Also at that age a lot of the CAS boys and GPS boys play in the same club teams so an...
