I hear Peters will be fielding a severely depleted backline this week. Will need the forwards to really step-up if they want to beat a competitive Padua side.

Agree with xxxx and ka_ora. Great atmosphere to watch a 1st XV game at St.Peters. The standout player during the game I thought was the No.8 from Iona. A real tough cookie with an excellent work-rate who would pop almost anywhere on the field, could take a hard hit, tackled hard and ran the...

Also, not 100% sure what the backs coach is teaching them there at Stpeters but they make it harder for themselves sometimes by over-complicating and starting too deep, allowing the defence to sometimes meet them at our before the advantage line. Whenever they made a break it was from a Marist...

Agreed, Eddies is still team to beat going on their trial match against Peters. Will be a really good game, but looks like SEC have been building for this age group for a few years. Their 2, 4 and 15 had blinders against Peters at Suncorp.

Yeah he is good, but have heard from a few yew old boys who are coaching that his attitude/work ethic was not the greatest at training. Who knows, maybe his performance against Marist might see him really kick on for the rest of the season.

I think his name is Duma. He has been around for a few years but, surprisingly, he is actually meant to be playing 2nds. That Balshaw boy fractured his scull and might be out the whole season so this kid is playing up. It would be hard for him to get his spot back now though! Wouldn’t go as...

Well said G-Man. StPeters are in fact not paying a cent for some of these boys, and it will be interesting to note that a lot of the players who played well on Saturday, the 9/10/11/14 have been there since grade 8. Hardly 'bought' in to play rugby in Grade 11 or 12. Even the 15 has been there...

Watched Peters completely dismantle Pats on the weekend. Fair enough, Pats won’t be the strongest team this year, But StPeters were clinical, something like 50-5. Interesting though, they used 29 players during the game, pretty much the whole second half was played by a 16a’s or 2nd’s players...
