Jones might argue that they can teach Gordon and Donaldson to be better at it but the RWC is no place for that.

Goal kicking is a massive red flag for us. We do not have a recognised test standard goal kicker in the whole squad.

Look at NZ. They have Mo’unga, Barrett and McKenzie. All 3 starting test 10s for just about any country. All three accomplished goal kickers. Jordy Barrett is also a decent kicker. We have a starting 10 who cannot even get the kicking gig for the Rebels and a reserve half who kicks a long one...

With the 48hr rule it will be cutting it very close for replacements at the pointy end of the tournament. Maybe that is EJs plan and we will see Cooper, Hooper and Ikitau in the knockout stages? This assuming we lose a backrower and two inside backs at some point.

Who is taking Coopers? Normally there would be two established 10s and a utility like Hodge. Donaldson has not played a test all year and will be thrust into every 23 in the RWC if fit. Cooper or Foley or Hodge should be there. Donaldson not so much
