    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

When we have beaten Fiji recently it has been without Skelton. I don’t feel his absence will be a big difference, particularly in the second half. Philip also has plenty to prove and will provide the hard edge.

Only joking. Should be the game of the weekend

It’s rugby………its never just a laugh, especially around here

It’s a big game. Win this and we are through. At the same time Fiji would rely on Georgia beating Wales.

He’s a gladiator and will not mind. He just needs to hold up his end and let Bell go to work.

We cannot throw Gordon on the scrap heap. He has a mountain of improvement in him. It sure would be nice to have an experienced goal kicking 10 in the squad, particularly for this game.

When do we get a team?

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Can’t happen………or at least should not. He will have 125kg torpedos coming at him all day until the dam bursts, which might be early. Maybe Donaldson starts on the pine and comes in if our goal kicking is not going so well? He kicked well last week but his percentage this year suggests that may...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Set piece will be all important on the weekend. We need to dominate there and play the game at our pace. We need Nella and a third second rower in the 23.

How do the Japanese media and public tolerate Jones? He did say he would be gone after the RWC win or lose, but he says a lot of things off the cuff.

Pocock would have been a beast at 2 if he switched early enough

Cut it off. We need him on the park

He did what he needed to and a little more. Let’s see if he can back it up. If everyone did what we need them to do in each 23 the RWC would be ours.

You can only play what’s in front of you. The disappointing aspect of the weekends game was that we did not turn a 21-3 scorline into a 40 or 50-6 scoreline. We are going to need to find that edge and to maintain intensity for the full 80. These are the games to practice it.

    Wallabies 2023

I watched the game again yesterday and Donaldson did not put a foot wrong outside of a couple of missed tackles. His positional play was flawless and his kicking very good for the most part. He was right there to score two, almost three, tries, saved another certain try and showed a very good...

Most likely Gleeson starts at 8 against Portugal. He needs to be fitter and go longer but he has enormous potential. So does Valetini and after a few years in Super Rugby he is shining at the highest level. Agree re McReight too. He is a special player and will only get better. In fact our whole back row...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

I mean if he is chosen at 10, which has been suggested. Occasionally he will have to be defending in the line even from 15 if there. Gordon and he will be seen as the weakest links. Thats where the big Fijians like to run. And no, not all 15s get brushed off like he was on the weekend. He needs...
