    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Any info from the SPLC v CHAC game on Wednesday? Also, doubt any trials will go ahead on the main fields, a lot of rain due to fall in the next 24hrs.
  2. Jets

    Queensland Reds 2025

Have been told Flook is out for the rest of Super Rugby, can't recall the reason why. It was third hand info so not sure on the reliability.

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Upcoming trials Wednesday SPLC play CHAC Saturday SPC v SEC Padua v Iona Villa v SLC MCA v St Johns Nambour

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Don't underestimate the Iona pack, they will have a strong scrum again. Their big issue will be Marist in round 1 into Padua in round 2. They could win both and be the front runner.
  5. Jets

Force v Reds, Round 3 HBF Park, Perth 7:35pm

He's quality. Interesting they have him at 13 though.
  6. Jets

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Any bold predictions for the final season standing? Should be a competitive year, with Padua starting as favourites.
  7. Jets

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Iona should be strong this year. Seconds won the premiership and the 10A's had a strong team. Even with the loss of Hopo they will have a very good scrum.

Any news around the grounds now the school year has started?
  9. Jets

    QLD AIC Rugby 2025

Will be interesting to see who replaces him. Will it bring a new style of play?

    Wallabies 2024

Probably a discussion for another thread

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Train and bus options would work. Others will use Uber, be dropped off or walk through Vic Park.

Chat that Gibbs may end up at GPS. Apparently has some connection to a player or two there.

Noble St has a shopping centre and then parkland on one side. Could push the foot traffic down that side to have minimal impact on residents. I do find it strange that people move to live close to a sports stadium and then complain about it.

    Ireland v Wallabies - Sunday 1 Dec, 2:10 AEDT

Frost probably needs to work on his in close ball carrying too. He's a big body and has good footwork.

We actually kept it close early on, negating the rush D. When the English outside back were disillusioned from the constant running we went wide and they made misreads as they all seem to want to make an impact. Really clever tactics. I'm sure JS has a plan for the weekend. I think he was...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

My understanding is they need two fields to play matches on plus warm up facilities. Perry Park won't offer that. Wilston Station upgrade, a pedestrian bridge over Newmarket Road and wider footpaths to the bridge over the creek would work. It's only 1.5km and there will only be around 15K...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

That's why Ballymore worked in the "old days" when the bars stayed open long after the games. Quite a few people hung around at the bars talking and wouldn't leave until well after the game.

Didn't realise that. Guess that won't happen now. :(

With no Gordan I am hopeful that Harrison has a long run with no injuries. I feel that he will be the guy for the next RWC if he can string some games together. I'm hopeful Noah plays more like he did at the start of the tour, rather than last week. No one played well last week and he's not...

I think we will find out next year when he qualifies for Japan.
