Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Raelene’s much mooted world class coaching assembly has a LOT of work to do.

Wallabies v Pumas, Bankwest (Parra), Sat 5th December

Their defence is great, their cheating not so

    Australian Rugby / RA

I read the article a couple of days ago, I can’t remember the exact quote, but my take on it was that headline came from his response to a question something along the lines of ‘would you consider coaching the Wallabies again’.

WALLABIES (1-15): Scott Sio, Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Allan Ala'alatoa, Rob Simmons, Matt Philip, Ned Hanigan, Michael Hooper (c), Harry Wilson, Nic White, James O'Connor, Marika Koroibete, Hunter Paisami, Jordan Petaia, Tom Wright, Reece Hodge Reserves: Folau Fainga'a, Angus Bell, Taniela Tupou...

Wallabies by 101 to take the silverware.

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

No we still only need one bonus point, it’s the PD that is insurmountable
  7. KOB1987

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

Well the tri nations is still very much alive, Wallabies just need to win by 101 points next week. Bring it on.

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

I have a feeling that one might go to the judiciary
  9. KOB1987

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

    I thought that too
  10. KOB1987

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

Neither team are handling the conditions. Which is not surprising but I’m hopeful it will set it up for us next week.

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

I think NZ will win but I’m not seeing a bonus point at this stage.

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

The only area the All Blacks have an advantage is the scrum. The Pumas need to bring on their proper front row at half time and it’s game on.

    Wallabies 2020

Yes and no. The deal with Pau is only for the end of this year/early next year and was signed at the height of the Covid situation. He will back for the end of SRAu/TT and certainly for the inbound tests. I think the ball is completely in his court, given he’s now locked in a Wallabies jersey...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

He would have had to wait for Petaia to level up with him and then go from a standing start.
  15. KOB1987

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

If you aren’t starting Savea surely he would be #20?
  16. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2020

I think there is zero chance of either of those happening. Purely contingency planning, which I like.
  17. KOB1987

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

haha. its hard to tell these days, if there is a compromise I'm open to it
  18. KOB1987

New Zealand vs Argentina, Nov 28, 2020

Yeah I'm not so sure Nick. The sensible for thing for Foster to do would be to run out largely the same team (pretty close to their best) and give them the opportunity to regroup, the alternate thesis would be to make wholesale changes. Both scenarios could go pear.

    Brodie Retallick?

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

I'm not too concerned about the performance and am actually pretty upbeat about the future, we are a very green team and the coach is entitled to experiment at this stage of the cycle. Aside from Hooper, Koroibete and possibly AAA & Hodge, our most experienced players are either injured or out...
