Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

It will be, but I firmly believe it’s a teeth gritting exercise we need to go through for the next few years, and will bear fruit eventually i.e. lifting Bill in 2027.

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

World rugby doesn’t give a flying fuck about player welfare. They worry about being sued. Sorry, wrong thread….
  3. KOB1987

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

You are 100% correct. You left out that crucial word though - litigation. That’s what it’s all about. I fear all contact sports will be phased out of existence within 50 years.

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

I was going to mention that. You’re right. It’s fucking dispirited though. Equates to cheating.

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

That one had to be the worst call in the history of test rugby…. ….anyways, we’re aussies, we’ll pull through.

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

Kiwis finding another way to cheat - knock it down backwards. I think that’s twice this game.
  7. KOB1987

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

My point precisely earlier. I didn’t have an issue with bells red last night but there are either rules or there aren’t.
  8. KOB1987

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

I knew bell was off as soon as he did it but there was no difference in intent, Sullivan should have gone too. anyway, back to this game…

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

I said the same thing here. in other news, how was Sullivan’s tackle any different to bells last night??

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2022

Yes. Re Kellaway, I think we established last year he is a player who needs to be on the end of a good backline. From memory he was pretty average for the Rebels last year too before getting selected for the Wallabies and getting that WR (World Rugby) Rookie of year Gong. I'm happy to let Rennie decide.

    Force 2023

If he signs with any franchise he’s available for selection isn’t he?
  12. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2023

Gamble is a kiwi isn’t he? Does he pass the residency criteria yet? Holloway would be my smokey for #20, covers 4,5,6 & 8 and Wilson covers 7 on the off chance hooper has to go off. Wilkin would be my second choice smokey.

Western Force v Waratahs: Saturday 16th April

Key takeaways from a biased waratahs supporter: 1- Angus Bell will be the Wallabies #1 for probably the next 10 years - his future father in law (at the time) that said he would be a 100 cap wallaby was right, but probably underestimated by at least 50 caps 2 - Nawaqanatawase has proper upside...

Western Force v Waratahs: Saturday 16th April

I’m thinking DC is redefining roles. Much like Slim’s favourite AJ did in the 80s and RMc a bit later. Could be equally groundbreaking, I like it.

    Wallabies 2023

Fantastic if it does happen, and it should. Everyone involved would already be on a payroll and if they schedule the games as curtain raisers you’d think it’s going to amount to a huge return from a pretty small investment.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

I’m a bit late to the party on this one but kudos to QRU for a) replying to this bloke in the first instance and, b) a really well articulated reply that makes a lot of sense

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

I’ve noticed that too. Trying to keep it out of the forwards i think, but it’s clearly not working.
  18. KOB1987

    Crusaders v Blues a.k.a. NZ's festum odii

I’d blame ScoBar if I was a crusaders fan. Muppet. NZR should have just left all the Barrett’s with the Hurricanes to deal with. Notwithstanding they can all be phenomenal players on their day, just they should have stayed at home to be a band of brothers.

    Super Rugby 2022

It is but they do it to try to keep as many supporters as possible engaged for as long as possible. Personally in a 12 team comp I’d go the old amateur model: week 1 A qualifying semi - 2nd v 3rd B elimination semi - 4th v 5th week 2 C major semi - 1st v winner A D minor semi - loser A v...
