Long time before Term 2 let them have a summer of growth - the U16s and have schools pick on trials and pre season. Some are 15 and will change dramatically.

They can improve and build a program from 13/14 up. The push to add New is honourable but they have struggled to field a solid 3’s so let’s not make quick decision. A few years back folks wanted to drop Shore from 1s….. looks kinda silly last year and this year that suggestion

Exciting times in both 1s and 3s that have many schools still in the hunt. Great to see some sun out this week for some dry weather rugby.

Too often the glory solo play or magical kick. - many could just let the ball do the work and simple draw and pass…….. so often the extra man is lost by a cut out or jink inside. Let’s use the amazing speed we have in the teams !

Where as players who play for enjoyment go on for years and years….. with 23m people we don’t have the base for the professional sports on the scale with four codes of winter ball sports. Focus on sports yes but have a plan B for some cash flow

I would think as players they would want to also play for their state and compete against them in the up coming comp…… as some of those picked have developed in the last six months.

Well they have two second rowers in teams and with four gps teams why not have a line out stealer and high level player called up….. with four teams for GPS surely there are some 2 XV players of note……

GPS games aside any known school holiday games happening ? Vs CAS or others ? Always good to see the comparison later in the season?

He also played for Manly and Sydney and other rep sides outside of GPS. There is more to youth rugby than a single school program. Plenty of Colts players who never played 1st…. Plenty of posts to the selection challenges for all teams.

Guess cause they have. 7th 8ths that makes the 4ths of quality to make the 3XV quality. If your lowest team is 3 or 4 it maybe hard. But I would support adding them and not removing SBH. Let’s make the GPS comp all the schools in the 3rds - a spreadsheet can solve the scheduling

NC have not been consistent at the 3XV level to be there….
