Australia A - Back on the Cards

Teddy looks to be a good player but miles off this level. I really didn’t think he dominated at u20 level in South Africa, but he is a good prospect. Put the runs on the board first.

Lol Bond win the minor premiership and then have to play their 1v2 game at Crosby Rd as the prize for coming first. I’m full on hoping the students win!!!

Makes zero sense, they are not contracted to the ARU are they? And I couldn’t imagine they have anymore games this year. How can they possibly stop them?

    Queensland Reds 2024

Please not Grey, limited as a footballer, did nothing as tahs and Wallabies defence coach and underwhelming as u20 coach. He completely lost me when moaning about the ref against Ireland. Complete lack of leadership there. He may boardroom present well but his results are poor.

I’ve been reading a lot about the Irish 10. Yes he has a beautiful boot and loops around the back of his outside backs in excellent support. However I thought he threw at least 4 forward passes with his short passing game and crabs straight across field before looping around. To be honest he...

Norths had a bad 10 minutes and then struck back. Fitness looked a lot better but just struggle at scrum time and simply cannot defend an attacking line out. They have a really good up tempo attack so plenty to work with , some depth would help.

Wests field looks absolutely awful on TV. Not sure what has gone wrong with all the money they have spent there. Is it is bad as it looks?

Geez this is a sloppy start by Lonergan at 9, shocker

    Qld Premier Rugby 2023

At least 3 players from the Norths colts side last year played today, which is a good sign especially when there is so much leakage from the under ages into Brothers. Hamish Muir is going really well at 15 in his first year in seniors. Not much of him but has some real class. If they could...

Defence was optional today. Both sides would have been disappointed with their defence today. Way too many easy tries.

Geez Taj Annan is an absolute liability in defence, he has no idea.

    Wallabies 2023

Good point Reg, big opportunity at no 2 with the Wallaby squad. Jordan and Mafi had awful trouble throwing straight last night for the Rebels, definitely a position a left field selection could come from.

    Wallabies 2023

Best game all year for Jock Campbell, no coincidence with him moving back to fullback. He’s still behind Wright and probably Kellaway but it is good we are building some depth at 15. Some other Reds players including Tate, Fraser and Liam Wright would have impressed Eddie on Friday night. Right...

    Chiefs v Reds 5.05pm Friday 12/05 - New Plymouth

Tate and Fraser really stood up tonight, great for the future for the Reds. 2 really strong young leaders both signed to long term contracts. Best thing for Tate was missing out on the Wallabies squad he has been excellent since. Smarts by Eddie with this.
