    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Agree @JPR. Newington have not yet failed to score any fewer than 4 tries in any match so far, win or lose, so clearly it ain't their offense that's put them mid-table at the turn. That they've leaked an average of 31pts per game across the first 5 matches says much, but they have started to...

@SDW, going 2 from 2 to 'close out' the front half of the season, reckon it's fair to say those New boys are a'rumbl'n already! Playing away at Kings to kick off the back half of the season should be a cracker of a game. Azzuri might have to calm his nerves with more than the standard 2x...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Agree @ GPSO. Newington are my smokeys to cause some level of havoc on the Premiership table through Round 2, with Kings next up to face that particular music, albeit with the benefit of home ground advantage.

Another "seer" in our midst. ;)

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Agree, a fair note to make by @SDW about the lineouts, and similarly the earlier one by @Sidesteppa about the nightmare conditions yesterday for both hookers to be throwing in on their own lineouts, especially when putting the pill back in from the Western touchline, fair into the gale coming up...

Looks like nearly all Round 2 games will have some sort of impact on the Season's final outcome >

^^^^^ Now 'fixed' @BW. Thanks for the heads up.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

^^^^^ Cheers @BW. I take you at your word. No offence to the boys, but I tend to not know the visiting players well enough or on sight, so I've been damned again by the Teamlists as published in the official Match Program, which had Charles Rorke @ #7, and Christopher Scott @ #6. (Most...

@Steppa, you've outdone y'self. You're no Mad Dog, so you must be an Englishman, because you had to be one of those to be loitering out on the Eastern side of the BH ground yesterday! Great job!

Cheers, @IS. Next week, a return to the 'scene of' then, with G playing away at HH.

A reminder of the "seer" in our midst. On occasions, yes, a myopic, Sky-Blue & White-tinged, seeing-eye dog-assisted, good-self with a ravenous appetite, but a pretty fair judge of sound Rugby rib-eyes, sirloins and flank-steaks nonetheless. Az assured us early on (see his 9 May post above)...

Just a follow up on Nick Carruthers, the Outside Centre for the Grammar 1's who copped the nasty injury (with deluxe dental work involved) in the final pre-season 3's game over at HH, now just under a month ago. I understand that Nick who's in Y12, was "pressing" (SGS Coaches, trainers, his...

Scott's v View, Round 5, 1st XV Match notes ('unofficial', but as I saw it) I was hoping the sight of all the umbrellas at Bellevue Hill today may've been a sign that the Bacardi Rum sample gals were here with mega-sized piña colada cocktails. Alas and alack. Conditions were more for Bundy...

HJ, am not qualified here, at all, but a note came out earlier today from one school that if a game was cancelled due to "safety" issues, then it'd be "replayed". Have not the first clue what rules govern such a "replay" fixture, but given the 3's running behind the trend-setting TAS, are...

You You know my mantra Az - go in hard, go in early, and take no prisoners; let no-one put you off your singular focus out there. As an Apex predator, your job is not one to share. When too much (many?) can't be nearly enough! Enjoy! (Am envious.) :)

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Latest update just out from Scots is that only the 1's and 2's are to be played on the Main Oval today, and that unless there's a "safety issue", in which case the games will be replayed. Anyone needing a 'fix' before 2pm will need to head to Hunters Hill or Northbridge.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

For those headed to Bellevue Hill, according to the Scots WetWeather line just updated, today, the first match on the Main Oval will be the 16A's @ 12noon. Then 4ths @ 1pm, 2's @ 2pm, and the 1sts @ 3:15pm. No 3's. Scots 3's have their Bye Round this weekend. WetWeather Wendy out.

^^^^^^^ Good job on the Pre's, Rich. Well done. With Noah and his Ark due in town tomorrow, I hope the boys remember to screw in their long tags. ;)
