Wallabies Number 8 for the RWC

I'd go with 5 backrowers in the squad plus a lock / flanker so Palu for mine would miss out as he hasn't had anywhere near enough rugby in the past 2 years to warrant selection. I would also select Beau over Hodgson, though I am a Reds supporter.

    The Kiwi Back 3

For a second there I read "put Mils at centre" instead of Sivi (getting old I know) and had a huge smile across my face at the thought of the All Blacks moving a fullback to centre for a third time in a World Cup after the obvious success stories of Cullen and McDonald. Could you ask Henry to...

    No Sharpie

My worry with Vickerman at the moment is that he appeared to struggled to stay with the pace of club rugby on the weekend. What happens if Horwill / Simmons get injured early on the weekend (ouch wood it doesn't happen)? How long does anyone expect Vickerman to keep up with the play? We won't...

    Shute Shield 2011

Was it in 2nd grade that they beat Penrith by 151 points to nil? I thought it must've been a misprint when I first saw it until I counted the tries scored.

    Deans confirmed until 2013

So Deans is to blame for players not taking the opportunity presented to them (especially the forwards)? Nearly everyone was relatively happy with the team selected during the week and the fact that key Reds players were being rested. Some players today played themselves out of the Wallaby world...

The coverage of the Reds win on Seven and Nine's evening news telecast last night was very disappointing. Gave the win lip service only.

SupeRugby Final 2011: Queensland Reds V Canterbury Crusaders

Congrats to Link, got the title that eluded him at the waratahs and must surely be the Wallaby coach in waiting... They've come a long way since the dying days of Eddie Jones forgettable year in charge with some solid foundations laid by Phil Mooney. A pity Deans hasn't utilised Phil at the...
