    Reds v Brumbies Rd 9 Sat 12th April @ Suncorp 7.35pm AEST

Just over 19k for the Dolphins game last night, hopefully with the dual ticket sales this sees us crack 20k again this weekend.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

Bell is well ahead of the next guys, but Kailea and Lambert are clearly of super standard. I'd say they're much more able backups then some of the players the other Australian sides have been forced to play during wallaby rest.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Probably not, but they lose nothing in keeping the options open.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Possibly, but Nine will absolutely take advantage of the option if they see it as beneficial. It's up to the game to generate the momentum and interest to justify that, but that'd still be the case if we had a FTA guarantee - we only get value out of being on FTA if people are actually tuning...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Probably can't ignore the fact that Nine are going into negotiations with the NRL for their next broadcast deal soon, and like it or not they're going to want to keep their options open there - an ongoing commitment to broadcast super on FTA won't be worth much to them if they can swing NRL...

    Wallabies 2025

There's maybe some excuse for Robertson, given the Force's injuries at prop, but it's wild that Bell hasn't had a rest given the tahs have a current wallaby prop in Kailea and a fairly well rated Aus A player in Lambert behind him. They must be in serious danger of loosing Lambert at this...

    Reds v Brumbies Rd 9 Sat 12th April @ Suncorp 7.35pm AEST

I find it really hard to tell where the brumbies are at this season. They've had some good wins (Drua in Fiji, Blues at Eden Park), but losses to the Force in Canberra and in particular tahs really take the gloss off. They're 0 from 3 against sides currently in the 6 (though the tahs position is...

It was the same setup in round 1 against the Highlanders

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

The Tahs are at their best when they lean into being the villains. Would hate to think how far further they could fall if they started conducting themselves in a likeable and respectable way.

    Waratahs v Chiefs - Friday 11 April 2025

So much for wallaby rest, figures it'd be the tahs who dodge the requirements once everyone else has been dinged by it.

    Wallaby Coach after Joe

Christy has Les Kiss to coach both the Wallabies and Reds next year: https://www.theroar.com.au/2025/04/09/exclusive-kiss-poised-to-become-next-wallabies-coach-as-rugby-australias-secret-meeting-with-qru-revealed/ Mike Cron and Geoff Parling might also stick around. Lancaster still in talks...

    Super Rugby Pacific 2025

Paints a dire picture for the tahs, particularly once you factor in where the games they have left are going to be played.

    Reds v Brumbies Rd 9 Sat 12th April @ Suncorp 7.35pm AEST

Daugunu may need to have a rest. I'd also be starting Canham over Salakaia-Loto given his excellent lineout work last weekend. I'd probably have Murray over Ryan too (possibly Ryan at 13 if Daugunu is out).

    Waratahs 2025

His defence at 13 for the Wallabies was pretty suspect. Beyond that he'd be wasted at 13 in this tahs backline. From 15 (or wing) he can inject himself in the attack as he pleases and is available to chase the contestable kicks.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Depends if they're using all the numbers or just the reported ones - super round was pretty much their only reported crowds for last year and they were reasonable as far as competition averages are concerned. But aside from that, reported crowds have improved for the Reds, Force, and tahs...

    Super Rugby 2025 NZ/ Drua/ Moana matches

Before their round 14 bye even, which means he should get at least 2 or 3 games in in the regular season and be ready to hit the ground running in the finals

    Super Rugby 2025 NZ/ Drua/ Moana matches

I imagine the wins they're looking at (in declining order of likelihood) are: tahs (h), Moana (h), Force (h), Moana (a), Drua (a). They'd probably hope to take at least a point out of any loss in these. Reds and Crusaders games would be assumed losses if you were war gaming it, but neither are...
