2024 Under 20 Rugby Champs all match discussion thread

I really think that the U20's should have a quarter final round

2024 Under 20 Rugby Champs all match discussion thread

Well we did beat the Baby Bokke in driving rain earlier this year. There is still hope.

    Waratahs 2025

Certainly with a name like that

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

I thought LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) was excellent in that first half and I'd be playing him and Williams together in Melbourne. Frost to come in off the bench.

    South Africa v Ireland 1am AEST 07/07

Yeah like the neck roll in that same play where the Ireland try was disallowed

    South Africa v Ireland 1am AEST 07/07

Good intense battle I thought. There were times where I thought Ireland were just hanging on, but really they could have won that game. The Bokke didn't have it all their own way by any stretch and Ireland at times put some real pressure on them. I give them a massive chance to win the next one.

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

I'd like to see the majority of the side stay the same, so we can see if they develop further this week. There were quite a few blokes who showed they were up to it and deserve a second crack (e.g. Faessler and Williams).

    South Africa v Ireland 1am AEST 07/07

    Yeah that was unbelievable

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Very happy for this group of young men and their coach. It's not always pretty but winning sure as hell beats losing. I thought the defence and breakdown work at the end were outstanding.

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

All Blacks probably a little lucky to get away with that I thought. England were good and physical today.

    Waratahs 2025

Excellent appointment. Best of luck to the Tahs and we need our biggest rugby state performing for the health of the game here.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

I'd be astonished if an astute elite coach like Schmidt would pick TT if there was a significant doubt over his match fitness.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Yep, pace on the game late. I'm excited about what McReight and Cale could do together.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

I'd argue that x-factor players have been a big part of the problem in the last decade. Maybe a more systematic approach is what's required.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

More or less as expected but man that's a FRESH Wallaby outfit. Stoked for the young blokes who've been picked. There's some real pace across the pigs and backs too. I hope that means we're going to play an up tempo and direct game.

    Waratahs 2025

This is excellent news. It would have been a shame to lose a talented Aussie coach for a prolonged period.

This is going to be a great game

    Wallabies 2024

I really respect Wright as a captain at the Reds and think he should be in our match day 23. I'm not sure I'd pick him at 6 and captain for the Wallabies, when we've got Cale and Valetini. Now Cale isn't a proven test player but Wright isn't either. I think the ceiling is higher for Charlie though.

    Michael Hooper: "What a ride!"

Hoops has to be one of the most likeable sportsmen I've ever seen. Great player, great man.
