Love this mate - I’m a NC supporter myself but I agree it’ll be a cracker of a game. Welcome to the forum as I see it’s your first post.

Don’t know why we are all arguing… every school does it… it’s schoolboy footy and I’m sure if you asked any 1st XV player if they’ve been chirped from the sideline in any game they’ve played they would say yes. It’s just part of the fun IMO.

Agree Mate, the “statey supporters” as they refer themselves, need to buy up numbers on Saturday to create a true grand final atmosphere. The kids have over 3500 kids so might as well take advantage of it. Apparently the spirit from the boys and girls who do show up is pretty good...

Another schoolboy with maturity well beyond his years - long live forum hill mate and I hope to see you and all schoolboy forumists there to make an appearance on a truly great day of GPS footy this Saturday.

Fill in 22 Murphy was the MOTM IMO, some great hits, especially for his size, and he filled the spot perfectly after a full game in the seconds I believe. Really unfortunate to see S.Mcgahan out again, especially before his last round of GPS footy.

Cheers mate - talked to contacts and believe the rules are: 26-30 degrees is mandatory water breaks at 1/4 and 3/4 time 31-35 degrees is 10 minute reduction in game time to less than 60 mintues (for 1sts) 36+ degrees is game cancelled.

My “Quick Tips” of the week - currently on work break so don’t have time as usual Nudgee vs BBC GT vs BSHS IGS vs BGS TSS vs ACGS Game of the round - NC vs BBC - BBC will look not as strong in the scrum without Clifford but will have more spirit in them IMO. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it...

Anyone know how likely GPS games are to get cancelled/postponed due to the Extremley hot forecasts for this round. I believe the GPS rule is if temps reach over 35 on Saturday games must be cancelled. Can I get some clarification on this?

Oracle… more like the detective. Personally I see Nudgee pulling a classic second half runaway. If you’ve seen there for and against in the 1st and 2nd halves that’s where you know they kick into 6th gear. Personally I reckon this game doesn’t start until that second half whistle

Sounds great mate, hope to see you there. Hopefully you can teach the grandson some 'real' footy someday, however when your that far out any footy available is good footy.

Great Watch this is. You can tell this round is different with the DLC boys on the 75th anniversary... I smell a big upset coming. Might have to join you up there as DLC is directly on the way to Yuleba as I'm carrying an oversize out west this weekend.

Cheers Ringer, Downlands are looking mighty strong this year with strong showing against some 1sts and 2nd/16A's teams with extremely strong scorelines when compared to other years. I'm picking the DLC upset with a strong home crowd this year - they might not have depth in their program but boy...
