They haven’t change structure in more than a decade.

Prior is year 12 isn’t he?

The players could adapt to a new structure. Who will come up with the structure though? Not the squabbling sideline pair in charge this year.

Not unless there is a coaching change.

I spot 3 that didn’t, Young, Kearns and Farr-Jones. How this list can omit Tony Daly and Steve Williams is beyond me.

Will ‘25 be the year that Joeys shake up the 1st XV coaching team?

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Yes, undefeated over the 2 rounds, they beat Joeys by 1 point in round 1 and 7 points in round 2. At the end of the season Joeys points diff was +143 and Scots was +144. So, so close.

Strong results in lower age groups? Man, can you count? 1 out of say 15 lower age matches doesn’t sound all that strong.

The logical twists in this statement make Simone Biles blush.

Joeys 2’s beat Shore 25 - 10 and spent a big chunk of the match with only 13 on the field. Shore are a one team wonder and if they don’t close out the prem this week it will be another 30 years in the desert. Sorry to burst your bubble.

By thrilling do you mean thrashed?

2 points-1) sounds like Abdo’s fairy tail. The kind of puff piece journalism that is really just a press release written in house at the NRL and handed to a lackey journo at Holt Street to try and influence decision makers. 2) speaking of decision makers, I very much doubt Joeys, Shore or...

Yes, the assumption of ‘25 Joeys dominance based on underage success was always flawed. The nucleus of the team was from the class of ‘24. Next year will be tough for Joeys. As for this season, the coaches have a lot of reinventing today before next Saturday. I’m not sure they are up to it.

Settle down champ. I think you’ll find @upthestudents is a View supporter. Shore played some spectacular rugby yesterday, it’s great they are in the box seat with a week to go. If they do win, as you say, the first premiership in 60 years, it’s just a drop in the ocean. They’d need to win...

    Joeys don’t.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Well, to be fair… it did. And then it didn’t. Shore were just too good on the return leg.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Rubbish, Shore has as many rep players. The Joeys coaching is predictable and fails to play to the strengths of the players and it certainly doesn’t select the best available players.

Time for Joeys to renew the coaching team. I’ll leave it at that.
