I don't think it is the Shore supporters that are talking up their chances! I think it is the non-Shore supporters that are trying to pump them up in the hope they fail. I will agree with your statement about Eels fans that talk up the start of every single NRL season since 1987!! ;)

Fingers crossed for a good year! I think we might be seeing a bit from the players you listed (2,4,7,10,12) as the season progresses - all seem to be destined for, or already achieved, higher honors.

Maybe NSW Rugby could allocate players to a couple of clubs then it is up to the club to pitch to the player why they are the better club, and the player chooses from there. Junior clubs should also get a good say as to why a player should stay with them after school.

Slim (no pun intended!) pickings there. All good players (jury is still out for me on Uelese) but there isn't whole heap of depth if these guys are our front line. Quite a few front row injuries at the moment. Who else do we have next in line?

Interested to know how T Wilson and Bowen went as the 9/10 combo for Easts on Saturday? I'm hoping for the Tahs future they showed some class and carved up.

I asked a similar question recently and was told Rex is better suited to 10 and Jai better suited to 15. Players with slightly different skill sets. Time will tell I suppose.

The Tahs are certainly struggling for props on both sides at the moment with Bell, Lambert, Holz missing. Lambert is gone for the season I think. Does anyone know what the return time on Bell and Holz looks like?

Agree - Edmed kicking options are often pointless and serving the ball back to the opposition in attacking positions. Agree - Gordon is good but overplays his hand. Maybe he has too much on his plate with captaincy etc. Agree - Bell and Holloway are natural leaders and would be great captains...
