    Australian Rugby / RA

Possibly stupid question, but is Rugby Australia solvent given their RWC cost overruns, private equity deal falling through and currently unfulfilled search for additional debt?

    Wallabies 2023

Any news on how Ikitau's recovery is going? This weekend's game really highlighted how much we missed him on attack, defense and backline organisation.

    Western Force 2024

It appears he is: link Ollie Hoskins would be a great get for both the Force and potentially the Wallabies. A locking duo of Rodda and Coleman would also be world class.

    Force 2023

Burey's been very good, but Pasitoa would still be the first choice 10.

    Crusaders v Force 06/05/2023

The Force have actually won all of their home games this year. They just haven't had that many home games.

    Australian Rugby / RA

If that's the case, then fair enough - my mistake. Consider my post retracted.

    Australian Rugby / RA

A good headline result, with a great deal thanks to Twiggy Forrest giving RA a largely free carried team in super rugby and allowing them to get an extra 25% broadcast revenue for having that extra team in the comp. Not worth a mention in any of the media, or any extra assistance for the Force...

    Force 2023

If that's the case, then the 2 TMO's should be immediately sacked or severely reprimanded as they are clearly incompetent. As this doesn't appear to have happened, Cron's statement is quite reasonable. Checking for foul play is one of only 2 or 3 main functions of the TMO's job, and fair enough...

Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week 2023

Round 9 1. Robertson (Force) 2. Mafi (Rebels) 3. Fa'amusili (Rebels) 4. Canham (Rebels) 5. Williams (Force) 6. Anstee (Force) 7. Wilkin (Rebels) 8. Wells (Force) 9. Fines (Force) 10. Hegarty (Force) 11. Pietsch (Waratahs) 12. Stewart (Force) 13. Perese (Waratahs) 14. Anderson (Rebels) 15...

    Force 2023

Seriously? Anstee's been very good this year, with better form than both Wells and RWV. Should almost be pushing for an inclusion in the Wallaby squad given he's a 6 who's excellent in the lineout.

    Week 8 - Waratahs vs Force - Saturday 15 April @ 7:35pm

It's a bit of a worry that the medical staff allowed Strachan to return to the field in the first half. Given the judiciary findings, this should have been a full red card, with the Tahs having to pay for basically the entire game with only 14 men. Almost certainly would have been a completely...

    Wallabies 2023

Would be ideal if one of Harrison, Edmed or Donaldson could come to the Force for the year to cover Pasitoa's injury.
  13. chiraag

    Force 2023

I was surprised to see this also, especially given Pasitoa is going to be out for the year. We've got a bunch of options who should be serviceable (Stewart, Hegarty, Kuenzle, Strachan, Prior), but we really need better than that

    Wallabies 2023

What's the news on Izack Rodda - I thought he was supposed to be back from injury in time for this tour?
  15. chiraag

Australia A v Japan XV matches

Really? I thought he played very well. A key turnover early on, at least a couple of line breaks and offloads, a very important covering tackle that probably saved a try and tackled strongly. If there were any stats available for the game, I'd think his would look rather decent.
  16. chiraag

    Force 2023

Seriously?! That's very disappointing if true. He looked great in the very limited time he was given and should really have been given now time ahead of Prior. Looks to have a pretty high ceiling and a local product, so thought keeping him on was a no brainer

Blues vs Brumbies SF, June 11 2022

So taking out the scrum half and side entry and blatantly trying to pull down a maul are ok now?
  18. chiraag

    Crusaders v Chiefs SF 10/06/22

You can chalk that try up to Josh Ioane. 2 rubbish kicks for touch, and then shocker of a chip kick from his own 22 to hands possession straight back to the crusaders. Almost a direct result of the questionable forcing of Bryn Gatland having to go off for an HIA but Matera not having to
  19. chiraag

    Wallabies 2023

Isi would certainly be a good for for the force. What's his contract status?

Tribe v Force 21/05/22 at FMG

The Force need all the help they can get based on recent performances
