    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

Coaching matters and so do the players. Needs some actual brainpower to figure out which of the two is the problem.

    Wallabies 2024

I don't get the reasoning that the team wasn't going to win so who cares anyways. It's the RWC, the showcase event for the sport, the pinnacle of most player's careers. If I were a Wallaby player or fan in the stands I'd have much rather spent my 2023 RWC being competitive and going out in the...

    Wallabies 2024

I posted points for/against in another thread and it was something like 2022: 330-370 and 2023 it is like 105-228, not counting Georgia. And they won/were within a few points of winning against GREAT teams. Both teams/years had injury problems or players being unavailable as they were overseas...

    Wallabies 2023

For all of those "Dave Rennie also sucked" so what is the difference people out there. - In 2022 the Wallabies scored 327 Points and had 388 Points Against. - In 2023 the Wallabies have scored 108 Points and 241 Points Against. That's an absolutely massive difference. That's the difference...

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

This is the worst coaching performance I think I've seen in any sport, ever. Eddie managed to take a competitive team and make them look like they've never played the sport. Great players like Kellaway, Koriobete, White were made to look horrible. He took all of the team's strengths and neutered...

    He should be fired immediately.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

Why don't they ever use dumny runners or any kind of misdirection when running? Makes no sense.

    Wallabies 2023

I don't think I've ever seen a Wallabies game in recent memory and thought they had a notable lack of fitness and that was why they lost. And Skelton just got injured in training and presumably his training in Europe is fine. Hooper, Ikitau, Bell, Kellaway, Valteni, Koriobei, Slipper. They...

    Wallabies 2023

The exact same place IMO. I don't think Carter Gordon is any further ahead now than he was 2 months ago. Same for Tom Hooper.

    Wallabies 2023

Even guys that have looked great internationally in the past have looked fairly pedestrian: White, Valteni, Koro, Kerevi, Petaia (less track record). So I wouldn't necessarily take that to mean the younger guys with less track record aren't that good. The team isn't clicking. The only players...

    Wallabies 2023

I can understand the logic for a team like South Africa of kicking the ball away constantly. Even if open play is a dead stalemate, they are dominant at set piece so should win on the basis of winning penalties at scrums/mauls. And they probably do better on the pen count in open play too...

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

They've barely been running the ball so I'm not sure it matters that Donaldson does nothing but kick. Him or Gordon, neither are good choices right now. The attack has been limp and seems extremely predictable. Smash it up with Valetini. Smash it up with Kerevi. Kick it away or go to the blind...

    Wallabies 2023

Eddie's at 14%. However, in 2022 he was a rosy 41% with England, including two massive wins over Italy and Japan.

    Wallabies 2023

You want to talk track records with Michael Hooper than be my guest. I like McReight, but he was MIA today. And the Captain was Dave Porecki.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

14% is worse than 38% last I checked.

    Wallabies 2023

Would have made more tackles and secured more rucks offensively. And provided some sense of direction as opposed to Captain Porecki.

    Wallabies 2023

I'd buy that excuse from Eddie if his selections/tactics made a lick of sense. And there's no excuse for RA. They've bottled it.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

It's hard to see how this is even going to help Gordon, Donaldson, McReight, T.Hooper. They are going to lose all of their confidence. And yes Donaldson has been fine at 15, but he's probably slated to start at 10 next time and who knows how that goes against Wales. You shouldn't ever be playing...

Wrong. Kicked it dead THREE times lol. White, Petaia and Vunivalu.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

It's been an unmitigated disaster so far and it is hard to fathom how it could have gone worse actually. I guess they could have lost to Georgia. If you said we are going to replace Dave Rennie with Eddie Jones with the caveat that the team loses its next 7 games against Tier1 opponents, who...
