I've had many ideas on a similar concept to this. Due to the GPS competition's long history, I don't think that it should be altered drastically or altered at all for that matter. However, what if there was a combined competition before the GPS comp starts or after it finishes, where all of the...

Thanks Scrum and Coke for this comment. If you had been on the forum longer then the past 3 week you’d know that I am a Shore old boy therefore making me bias. I’d also like to add since your having a crack at me, that it’s a bit suspicious that your accusing me of being a student when you’ve...

Phew! About time, as an old boy from the school it’s quite embarrassing some of the things coming out of this children’s mouths about other players/school. Standards have dropped big time. TheMaulester

My bad, I know Alex is currently in the 1st/2nds squad training at Shore so just assumed he was 16A. Ed Arnold on the other hand is a new boy to the school (not 100% on this), but I’ve heard he is playing excellent at the 1st/2nds squad training and has a great shot of playing 1st, one or two...

Alex and Ed Cowdry are young guns from the 16s and Ed Arnold (Back) and Isaac Edwards(forward) played 3rds/2nds last year. Keep a good eye out for them this year. Great players and very entertaining play style to watch. TheMaulester

Just to list a few 2nds players from Shore to can play 1st: Alex Segeart Jamison Lyne Gus Gordan Ed Arnold Ed Cowdry Hugh Reardon Hugh Brickwell Isaac Edwards Preston Scott Alex Yates This is just the tip of the iceberg that Shore has this year. Should be a great year @ScrumAndCoke! Let me know...

Great depth within the Shore squads. People like Alex Segaert, Isaac Edwards, Gus Gordan, Ed Arnold and Jamison Lyne would make perfect replacements for any 1st player that get injured. Shore has plenty of wonderful forward and back talent within the 2nds players that would perform just as well...

The ‘glazing’ as your son calls it is due to this year being the first in decades where Shore School has a chance at the premiership. With Marshall leading the Shore team out as their captain nothing with stop them. #shoreprem2024 TheMaulester

Very well said Warringah Maul. Scots and shore are the top runners only on the paper - though Scots were the best team other then Kings on paper last year and we all know how well that ended out for them. I just think with Scots consistency to choke the season with one of the best lineups year...

Either you've played a bit too much footy in your day, or you've spent too much time on the forum instead of listening to your teachers. I agree with what you're trying the say but the spelling of CAN'T is terrible. TheMaulester

@Warringah Maul I have to agree here, this is just a snippet of the NSW squad due to the many injuries. If you also looked at the AUSU20 squad, NSW had many players especially if you count players that have moved from Waratahs to Force like Boston Fakafanua

Either Shore or Scots, can't really see any other team competing against those two. Just looking at the predicted team list, on paper they both look to fly ahead. TheMaulester

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I have to say this will be a very interesting game, can I bring you back to 2022 Shore @ Scots, where Shore kicked a field goal to win the match. There will definitely be an extra rivalry nevertheless the usual rivalry. My predictions for the game is that it will be a very tic tac game with...

I heard he was a gun player at shore but due to his recent enter to Riverview (just this term) I don't think he will know the players well enough to play 1st. Though on the other hand he may play reserve for the 1st as at Shore he was one of the major factors to people like James Warner and...

Rex will play 10 as Alex Segaert plays some questionable moves at certain times. It looks apparent that he will be a 2nd's veteran' this year TheMaulester

I believe they are looking at Jye Callaghan or Lewis Kingdom, although in my opinion, due to Lewis' inability to make crucial tackles I think they'll stick him on the wing or outside and try out some fresh, young guns like Jye at fullback. TheMaulester

As a shore supporter I think SHORE will do very well and have a solid chance against the rest of the teams. My only concern is how in the past 2 years the difference between them playing at home and at other schools is very big. My personal opinion is shore will be the hardest team to beat in...

    NSW AAGPS 2024

I agree with this partially. I agree with that the SHORE boys have a strong hatred towards Duddy, showed when SHORE would play SCOTs and the boys in the crowd would shout abuse at him on the sidelines. although I believe that these young players are quite professional and can get over this...

exactly... the way the game flows is completely different. Jay might exceed in in NRL but might not live up to the expectations he has in union. Hopefully he can play his same 'flowing style' that he uses in League and put it into good use at SHORE.
