    Reds 2020

Exactly. If in a couple of years time, say Slipper wanted to come back to the Reds, I would imagine Thorn (if he's still there) would have a similar chat to him that he did with JOC (James O'Connor) and if he was convinced he's got the right attitude moving forward then a contract back at the Reds wouldn't be...

    Reds 2020

It's pretty much what I expected him to say and it stacks up for me. The stance taken with James and K was understandable at the time, even if I didn't necessarily agree with the entirety of it. The situation with James O'Connor is plainly different and I don't think it's hypocrisy or a double...

TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

Not really but in there we had the inbound Test series when the Lions were over in NZ where we played Scotland, Fiji and Italy I think? So fair to say a few of those were "experimental".

TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

Couldn't resist and checked the matches. Kerevi has only ever started at 12 for the Wallabies 6 times and on each occasion he's played with Kuridrani at 13. I went back to 2016 and found we've used 13 different midfield combos in 42 matches. Foley/Kerevi 8 Kerevi/Kuridrani 6 Beale/Kuridrani...

Cheers team. Marries up with how i remember things too. I'll be pretty excited to see Kerevi v2 and Kuridrani team up again then.

TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

Anyone want to pose a guess as to how many times we've seen a Kerevi/Kuridrani 12/13 combo for the Wallabies? I'm curious. As long as the other backline selections complement the bash brothers midfield it is easily my preference. I'm keen to see what Kerevi v2.0 (ie can pass and kick a bit)...

    Rnd 18: Brumbies v Reds

Has anyone been cited for the tip tackle on Higgers? Arm between the legs, lifted past horizontal and driven head first into the ground is a red card. I was astounded it was missed on the night, I think only saved by McGahan's equally astounding drop goal sailing over.

    Rnd 18: Brumbies v Reds

I prefer Jock to be honest. Seems to put in way more than Sefa who has looked a little lazy or uninterested at times. We have plenty of crash ballers with CFS and Kerevi.

    Rnd 18: Brumbies v Reds

I like that side. Would much prefer Hegarty/Stweart as 10/15 but still lots to like. Plenty of impact coming off the bench (if Thorn actually uses it). Any word on Tate? That ankle must've been worse than first thought to miss two weeks?

Reds to win with a BP.

    Reds 2019

Getting OT now but apparently RA have taken out insurance to the tune of $10M to cover the possibility of a loss at trial. No idea how much that would cost but hopefully it takes the possibility of bankruptcy off the table.

    Reds 2019

I am only speculating but it wouldn't surprise me if RA were waiting on the outcome of the Folau thing to have one last hail mary play at keeping Samu. Yes they would have a heap of spare cash now but if they lose this thing in court then they could also be bankrupt so perhaps they've told him...

    Solid bench option?

    Reds 2020

Geez, a backline of 9. McDermott 10. Hegarty 11. Daugunu 12. Meakes/Kerevi 13. Petaia 14. Speight 15. McGahan/Stewart Is starting to look like the missing piece of the puzzle from this season. Obviously a strong signing at 10/15 would be a huge plus but the balance is looking better.

You get my like for this alone. A man after my own heart! :D

    The new Wallaby jersey

I don't see a need for the southern cross and I like the simplicity of the jersey without it. The away strip is epic. Love it.

    Reds 2019

No I think our longbacks are probably one of our strengths at the moment. I'm assuming he'd command reasonable money though. I'd rather it spent on retaining Kerevi and securing the services of a really good 10 if we can find one.

I really like that team Reg. I really like what I've seen of Blythe the last few weeks though so I'd let him start and make Hockings earn the starting giraffes jersey back again.
