The Wolves from Lane Cove respect the wet pink kitty kitties from HH, but Never, Ever fear them, always a good contest.

Fair enough UTG, not intentional though and hope the young bloke is OK. Hate to see a anyone laying motionless on the field and the Shore boys are a brave breed. Brumbies; Coorey Ref’ is an old Joeys boy from Toowoomba, Spotted Cow (aka Freckled Heifer) heritage if I am not mistaken, nice...

Good morning Ladies and Gents, equally frustrated to find the round ball game instead of the 3rds on the link, maybe a soccer joke on us?! The game results you have been waiting for; Riverview 8ths def Shore 7ths 43-5

Well done Joeys on a deserved 2019 premiership. Very close competition this year. I wanted to thank all who updated the scores at various games during the season. It is a service greatly appreciated by the parents of GPS Boarders, who can't make it to all of the games. There are plenty of people...

Scots Vs Joeys; Difficult to see the bagpipers from the east overcoming 3 inform pink and blue sides in the top grades. In the 1st XV, hate to do this; but predict the boys in pink will be too strong by 12. Riverview Vs Newington; Both sides have won/lost by similar margins this year. View...

Agreed TDO, well said B&W. Joeys and Scots will both be difficult to defeat again this season, maybe not impossible, but certainly a challenge. Great to see 5 GPS schools so close and I am hoping Rod MacQueen can restore Shore's rugby Mojo to make it 6 in the near future.

Without mentioning names, View's numbers 9,10 and 15 were outstanding in my humble opinion. I know there was a lot of talk about the Kings fullback who is good, but the View fullback had a much larger game. Seems to be plenty of depth, time will tell.

As a parent of couple of boarders at Riverview we are along way from Sydney and don't get to as many rugby matches at school, as we would like. However we made the View vs Kings match last weekend. In my opinion; View controlled the match and didn't look like they were threated at any point...

Congrats Joker on your comeback, we missed your posts. Pretty sure it is pink btw ;) . Nice to see Shore's 2nd XV doing well, hopefully it's a sign of their rugby revival.

G'day B&W, I agree that Newington would be around those numbers. Riverview has around 1500 students from years 5-12. When you subtract the K-4 numbers from schools that cater to these primary years (which are generally around 300), it is not significantly larger than most of the other GPS schools.

    NSW AAGPS 2019

Fair point QH, however the comparison is valid; according to New's 2017 annual report, the school had 1369 boys enrolled years 7-12, add two more years for years 5 and 6 and New' would be very close or above 1500. As others have noted, having a larger boarding community seems to help with...

Just wanted to correct this speculation Joker; 'View is closer to 1500, in fact Shore, Kings, Newington and Scots are all larger in student number. There are 10 XV teams in the Opens and has been for many years. Rugby is part of the culture, as I am sure it is with some of the other GPS schools.
