Prodigy It seems a shame that they cant get the colts competition together, have they tried to get any of the lower division clubs to field sides? Once again these clubs that have a very transient playing bases where they have good numbers at home, but poor away are doing a great injustice...

Any last minute issues sprung up? How are the sides from the old div 4 doing with numbers? Im in London so cant wait for 7pm EDT to log on and see how the first round has gone!

Two and half weeks till the season kicks off. Whats is happening with 4 div? or more importantly the clubs that can field three teams???? Good to see the draw has been done for 3rd Div on the subbies site

I find it quite sad that the level of interest has dropped. My brother was in the 1st XV (Even got a photo in the Sun Herald haha) the grandstands used to be full, and it was an event wen the 1st XV played. When he was playing the Sun Herald even did a season preview. Why has the comp lost its...

I really cant understand what the issue is with them. They have a catchment area that is huge, and there is no longer a rugby league team in Hornsby, although the Asquith Magpies are right on their door! They should be a powerhouse club! But paying players has too be a slippery slide!

How can any club afford to do this? After the problems the lions have had over the last few years i am surprised they are going down this route. They have a large catchment area all the way north to Berowra and they might even get a few from the Central Coast. Not sure why they need to pay...

Do schools still make it compulsory for students to attend first XV games. It was a great day out when they used to make us do it 1995-2000!

The last time they were in Div 3 they did have a battle with numbers, esp for away games!

There is no mention of St George either! I cant believe a month out from the start of the season they haven't got their act together!

How did both clubs (Waves and Collegaues) fair when they were both in Div 1 and competing for players?

So why then have they been struggling in 1st grade for the last few years? Full credit too them though, they always have great depth! Lower grades and colts are always strong! Has there ever been a Joey's Old Boys team, or do they all end up at HH?

What has happened to Iggies, do they have a strong relationship with the school?
